What are those movies where you feel afraid people will judge you for liking them?

I'm the world's biggest sucker for Titanic. Mostly because I'm fascinated with the actual event, but as a tragic period romance it's fucking perfect. It doesn't turn me into a completely weepy fag, but it gets the tragedy right and that's more you can say for most of these kinds of movies. Every time I watch it I come away with a pretty good dose of the feels.

Only thing I really don't like about it is that horrible song.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Even though it's enabled many a troon/autist to feel validated in dressing like a twat, and the Time Warp haunted my childhood discos, I can't help but enjoy the absurdity of it. And some of the songs are catchy as hell.

I know I'm going to hell for saying this but I do enjoy some of the Child's Play movies. The first movie was great for what it was, Kyle was very cute in the second and the third movie had a fucking awesome death scene of Chucky being destroyed by a giant fan!

Now the Child's Play sequels were not that great but had some fun moments.. Bride of Chucky with Jennifer Tilly playing Tiffany brought new life into the franchise and made for a great movie. However, Seed of Chucky was the worst thing since the Black Death!

When I heard about Curse of Chucky I thought the worse. If Seed of Chucky was bad than this movie had no hope! Thankfully I was wrong. Like Bride of Chucky, Curse of Chucky was well received 180 from previous installments. But while Bride embraced black comedy/horror, Curse of Chucky brought back the horror that the original Child's Play was known for and why I enjoyed it in the first place. Unfortunately the sequel, Cult of Chucky, was not that good in my opinion. And I thought Seed of Chucky was bad.

If someone wants to give me shit for watching The Amazing Bulk, The Godzilla movies, or any of the other film I have, they can get the fuck out of my house. I will not feed them or share my alcohol with them.

I enjoyed the Super Mario Bros. movie. I liked that it had a darker tone and atmosphere than the games. And even though Bob Hoskins hated doing the role, I thought that he did a decent job in the role.

"The worst thing I ever did? Super Mario Brothers. It was a fuckin' nightmare. The whole experience was a nightmare. It had a husband-and-wife team directing, whose arrogance had been mistaken for talent. After so many weeks their own agent told them to get off the set! Fuckin' nightmare. Fuckin' idiots."

From The Guardian.

I love any movie where men (not women) beat the shit out of each other.

Special mention: Hard Target by John Woo. The men who die in this movie must be cavorting happily in Gay Heaven.

Honestly all Barbie and doll based movies. They're either cute or the most fucking bullshit story ever seen. I really wished Ever After High continued because not only did I enjoy the fashion and 2D animation but they were great at story telling.

I know it's fucking terrible, but I catch myself watching "A Knights Tale" every time I see it on.

I know, academically, that National Treasure is so golly gee whiz, it's ridiculous. For me, it transcends the realm of guilty pleasure and ascends into being genuinely likable.
