I knew Nat before he had trooned out, back when he still used iFunny. He would post images of a stuffed animal duck that he had, and overall just seemed like a rather normal exceptional individual. I don't think he publicly trooned out before he got suspended from high school for his "it's okay to be white" t-shirt twitter post, and I don't remember if he told anyone that he was thinking about trooning. He did have and run several group chats where he and his underaged friends would post nudes of themselves, and eventually the overly-horny personality that he had became unbearable and I stopped talking to him. He never really cared about internet politics, he just used it as a cover to be edgy online and spark outrage, which is why I think he trooned for attention. I guess it worked in the end.
I don't know if getting ratted out to the FBI for involvement in international sex crimes then dropping off the face of the earth is a victory, but he definitely got his fair share of attention.
The most interesting thing about this guy to me was his journey. If you search kiwifarms for this person, you'll see scattered references as far back as 2017.
This is the first one chronologically, out of what I found from a casual search. There could be more. Apparently this guy was a part of the twitter lefty furry community. Perfectly average origin story for an adolescent autistic grooming victim. Nothing out of the ordinary there. At some point he turns rightward:
Nat Hemel is retarded.
News at 11.
He starts hanging around the "alt-furries" and produces an infamous photo that even made it onto a pewdiepie video:
Embarrassing? Yes. Out of the ordinary? Again, not really. We're just talking about motion from one group of furry groomers to another, at this point.
The question is, how does this person go from that to a well connected far-right account in under a year just by putting on a Sucy avatar from Little Witch Academia?
This guy was mutuals with Crisprtek, who arguably outranks Nick on the internet right-wing sphere. I don't have caps for that but it's relatively common knowledge, and the Stempai connection makes a similar point. How does that happen? It'd be fair to assume that the furry groomersphere and the e-right would have some overlap, but to the extent that some random mentally ill furry can just waltz into elbow-rubbing with the people at the top?
That doesn't happen unless the venn-diagram between those two groups is a circle, at least where the clout is concentrated. Only the people at the bottom who don't pay attention think there's any real distinction. It should be no surprise to anyone that America First operates on this principle, when it's directly inherited from the kingmakers above them.
