I knew someone who would buy a ton of those things but had all the same ingredients in her pantry/fridge. Also a hoarder, had trouble standing for long periods of time and also spent money like it was nothing. She also loved to tell people how giving and caring she was, even though she wasn't. Kind of crazy the similarities actually.
It purely comes down to being lazy and spending money cuz it made her feel good. Easier to stuff already cut cheese in your face than stand and cut it.

It seems like it was a really short course, so I am betting they gave her cipro. the antibiotics they use on cellulitis usually work on UTIs, so still having a uti after the cellulitis course could steer them in that direction. If she weren't so big they could get a good culture sample and figure out what is really growing in there. If she ends up hospitalized they are going to catheterize her and get a usable urine sample right away. I had another thought- her weight is likely making the antibiotics less effective. I don't have specialty in this area, but powerful antibiotics are harmful to liver/kidney in certain amounts, that amount may not be enough to defeat her infection within her BMI range. There hasn't been much research about standardizing antibiotic dosages by weight in adults (they do this for kids and animals though). I wonder if her anxiety issue is about this? She should be worried, and trying to lose as much weight as humanely possible in the mean time.

Cipro and Levaquin are in the same class. Amber received a single dose of IV antibiotics in the ER as far as I know.

Screw this doctor nonsense. What Amber really needs a baby aspirin, a pint of Ben and Jerry's with crushed Azo sprinkles, and a pelvic massage from Becky. She'll be up and jumping on the bed in no time!
Her doctor could always refer her to a urologist if the infection doesn't send her to the hospital first.

She only got a doctor a week ago. She hasn't said if the cellulitis cleared up, but she has been dealing with this bladder infection for close to two months now and has been on two different courses of antibiotics for it so far. (as far as we know)

I'm pretty sure she did say in her diagnosis video that the antibiotics did clear up the cellulitis, but not the bladder infection which is why she had to get a new PCP. And if she still had cellulitis I think she'd know and would be in the hospital septic right now. Like I'm not sure but I don't think you can just have cellulitis and not have it progress and fuck you up if you don't handle it.

So she misses her family deeply, but if she was skinny she still couldn't go see them cause she has to do christmas things with her roommates and her gf family that use her to scam money out of people. Not seeing them brings her deep sorrow.

Assuming she did miss her family (nope.) she could always invite her mom and maybe another loved one over to her. Not like she's considerate to anyone in that house or would bother to ask if it's a bother.

Urinalysis sperginess: when a bladder infection is suspected, docs order a Urine C & S. They try to grow out, (culture), whatever bacteria is responsible, then test to see what antibiotics that bacteria is sensitive to or not. That's why you can go in, be tentatively diagnosed with a UTI & give an antibiotic only to be called by the doc a few days later to be told they've sent a new antibiotic Rx to your pharmacy; when the sensitivity test gives them a better antibiotic fit. She doesn't mention this so either it wasn't done, (unlikely) or the antibiotic dosage is incorrect as a few have suggested. Or she's flat out not taking them properly. There's an outside chance the antibiotic was working but she managed to pick up yet another UTI, this time from a bacteria not sensitive to whatever antibiotic she was recently on. Without knowing what she's already been given, I humbly submit that as rough as she looks now, if she has to go on stronger antibiotics, she's going to look even worse by this time next week. Her partially healed & thoroughly scarred skin sores... is it me or do they seem to look worse lately; almost as if they're "unhealing"? Love how she describes her cold sore as "something I deal with". Please; it's not that dramatic. I thought she wasn't reading comments? Her video yesterday was loaded with Herpes comments & if it doesn't bother her, why mention it? VictimLynn is in da house with 'horrible' pain, anxiety & Christmas angst. The holidays can be tough for the most adjusted individuals & families with tons of compromising & hard choices necessary - nothing special there. Yeah, the counselor/therapist thing... I'm too lazy to check if she said she was seeing a summer but she definitely left me with that impression. And if she was seeing a counselor, of COURSE, they didn't see eye to eye; certainly not if they suggested she want want to contemplated some behavioural/attitude changes. At this stage, not sure what's falling apart faster - Vlogmas or her body?
