Been replaying Vice City using the ReViced pack (Which is superior to that shitty remaster they shat out) for the first time in forever and I know VI won't be able to deliver something like that. For one, one of the reason why Vice is great is that it's time period is set in the 80s. You know even today the fucking radio channels are going to be like 80% modern nigger music like in GTAV. The look and style of the 80s is one of the reason why Vice remains my favorite in the series. FLASH Radio forever!
God you don't know what I wouldn't give for another game set in the 80s.
The worst part is that one of my favorite thing to do is playing GTAV in VR using Luke Ross's RealVR mod and my racing wheel. Cruising around one of the most detailed open world city fully immersed is a pretty zen experience. And there isn't any racing game that does support VR that offer an open world to cruise around in. The closest thing is people making huge maps in Assetto Corsa. GTAV is a huge map and it's amazing how you can just stop at a corner of the city and look around and it just feels like you're in a living city. The next best thing I can do is drive a truck around America/Europe in Trucker Sim (Which is mostly all highway driving with only the outskirts and major arteries of cities is accessible. ATS is getting a DLC that adds actual cars and normal trucks for road trips which will be a nice addition but the map won't change.) or drive around a deserted Tokyo Shutoko Expressway recreation (It helps to set the time at midnight so it feels like having a night cruise but still, it all pales compared to GTAV.). That mod has long since been DMCA'd by TakeTwo, I play using a cracked version of the game that I have copied on three drives to ensure I have a back up of it. It sickens me that it surely means nobody is going go try to get VI working in VR when they finally deign us worthy of having the game on PC.
I refuse to do those missions again. There tons of other shootout missions that are actually fucking fun and don't make me have a fucking conniption. I wonder if they gonna bring back that AI for the Kortz Heist.

i did the darnell emp shit and the fuckers kept sniping me with a MK1 MG, which has terrible spread but they were always precise with it.

Annoying thought: what are the odds a port of the GTA4 trilogy of tbe PSP Stories games drops on the switch sonetime in the next 12 months?
I have to think Rockstar, greedy as they are, probably are going to internally start to wonder why they are intentionally ignoring the money they could be making off of Switch owners. Especially since, IIRC, GTA 3 Trilogy DE made most of its money off of the switch version fron GTA starved Nintendo fans.
And if GTA6 underperforms, a surprise GTA4 Trilogy port for the Switch could buy them some good press
