I was disappointed at the first viewing of the trailer but after a few more watches it looks OK but clearly is going to lack the "edge" that Dan Houser brought to previous editions of the game

Okay. That was something.

I'm honestly underwhelmed. The graphics have hit uncanny valley; I cannot tell if it's a video game or just random footage from Florida. RDR2 had a slight filter that distinguished itself as a video game. Art direction is everything. So far, this looks realistic but generic. It looks like somebody just took GTA V with ultra realistic mods and slapped everything together.

Don't even get me started on the NPCs. There's a LOT of samey character models.

On the upside, I really loved Vice City, so seeing them actually go back to it is kickass. I doubt it'll be half as incredible as the dorks screaming about "HYYYPE!!1!!!", but it looks ok to me.

This will be a fun sandbox to drive around in and shoot people, but if the missions don't actually take advantage of the massive city and sandbox I don't see the point in buying this one at full price after how much of a tease GTA5 was. They made this big beautiful open world and you spend so much of it on rails when you play the story missions. Wouldn't even be worth 10 dollars if all it's gonna be is a bunch of shitty minigames interspersed with the occasional shoot out in a linear corridor disguised as an open street like GTA 5 was.

It has almost the same diversity of vice city in that trailer but theyre seperated in different sections with the white people being over the top stereotypes
