The question might've been asked already but I was too tired last night to do it myself, if the charge right now is limited to "Incest w/ parent/child", does that mean he isn't charged with rape?

That could be part of a potential plea deal he has taken, he pleads guilty to a charge of incest but they drop the charge of rape. But we have no actual idea right now except to say at this point, he has not been charged with rape.

chris insisted on taking this to trial, for what reason im not sure.
maybe he insisted on going back to branchland court.
maybe he refused to admit that he raped his own mom and take the plea
maybe he was misgendered and sperged out at the judge.
in any case, chris probably annoyed the judge and prosecutor and robbed them of their opportunity to make this go away and sweep it under the rug by keeping it in family court and therefore sealed.
now the judge has probably already made up his mind on how he's gonna to sentence chris, the maximum possible of 10 years minues 1 in jail and he will make an example of chris as revenge for making this event a clown circus show where weens can attend.

He's taking it to trial because of a combination of a poor understanding of the court system and a belief that he didn't do anything wrong.

He can refuse his public defender and testify himself, but he has to do that before trial, then he has to be responsible for all of the filing and court paperwork himself.

It would be difficult for an average fool, Chris would stand no chance and would end up making such a mess of his own defense that he would probably somehow get the stocks reinstated as a punishment just for him.

I thought that in the instances of prison rape that do happen, it is more of a power/control thing rather than sexual pleasure...basically a way for inmates to assert their dominance over other prisoners that they feel are weak or low on the prison hierarchy...or punishment for fucking up somehow.

That being said, I doubt Chris would get raped, but I think he would get bullied or beat up a lot with his crime being what it is, and for Chris being annoying. Special prison wing or no, I am sure that he will at the very least be seen as a guy that you can easily get commissary from.
