I didn't record the call since I'm in a two-party consent state. Given my experience with this sort of thing, it should show up in Virginia's court system sometime next week.

It's been 4 hours, i fhe was released we would have heard something from him by now. A tweet or possibly a /vlog from a place with wifi on his phone.

His hearing potentially could have just finished at 1:00. If he plead out he's got to go through the entire release process and find somewhere to charge up his phone with wifi before he can make a post.

This is also assuming the state government isn't going to make him serve his last couple days while they figure out what to do with him. I think there is a decent chance they are going to put him in a halfway house or something similar for a couple weeks.

They've already gone through the process of things like requesting closed trials and sending Chris to the mental hospital. They have to realize at this point that if they just release Chris into the wild with no supervision that:

1. He will immediately head for 14 Branchland and will likely engage in further attempts to track Barb down if she is not there
