and wtf happened to his voice? did he suffer from a facial palsy? i didnt remember his accent being near as annoying as now, infact it was one of the things that made him stick out.
 
It might be small but the day Idubbbz called Grade retarded was one of my most satifying moments watchng youtube. Even if it was very brief.

Yep, and it gave him the impression that he was making YouTube a better place in the second part of his infamous rant about YouTube e-celeb drama--you know, the same one that turned half of /r/GradeAUnderA against him as well as the one that proved that his videos had been becoming less about the mundane day-to-day inconveniences he usually talked about and more and more about picking fights with other YouTubers. I've got it timestamped:

By the way, I know I'm almost two months late on this, but that's only because I had the rather misguided belief that he would be more consistent in his uploads. Dude going by m0xy in Twitch/livestreamfail contexts' trademark is his scuffed microphone. One time he got a new one and forgot to stuff it into his mouth, so he came out clear and people were like "who the fuck are you".

That is not a viable tactic when you make heavily edited videos in which you're meant to sound smart.
