My takeaway from Cooper here is that he will go down in history for creating one of the most "trooncore" memetic pieces of media that has done irreversible damage to mentally ill children, and that it will take several decades for society to recover from. That's a lot of dead kids in the near future that are going to %41 every year and they'll call it "abstracting". Tragic, really.

I think Cooper sees it too but probably not in the way I described. He very clearly regrets and fears the beast he accidentally created. He thought it would be a silly little Internet cartoon, but didn't expect it to blow up in the way that it did. Like Oppenheimer, Cooper saw his creation cause more harm to the world than good, and even for a troon, he couldn't handle how terminally ill things got. Which is why DFE for them is coming, I believe.

Idk I cant tell you what opinion you can have. I will say you havent said anything they did right. You've stated the majority of bits arent well done, the characters dont make have any emotional impact, and the themes fail. Thats pretty much the entire story. You cant just make a series on gay filler.

For example, the Chinese room implied Cain is an simple ai who simply doesn't get what he is experiencing but just answered as he is programmed to, he is a digital thing. Only for episode 9 to somehow give him empathy by ripping out his bro (who he ate)

Thats not even remotely the point, but I cant blame you. The point of the Chinese room is that it acts like a black box, where you cant measure Turing completeness based on output. Open it up and the entire thought experiment falls apart. Thats what I mean when I say he (and you) know of it, but dont understand.

Plenty of authors are sole writers. Thats not really an excuse. Tolkien wrote everything by himself so its possible. I do think hes much better as design, but he should have only advised or directed, not write after being greenlit.

Yeah, content farms are cringe, but I haven't seen anyone draw/cosplay CSAM content and the like around TADC. No one is putting razor blades in cookies for TADC lolilovers like Undertale had. The cosplayers are not barely legal teens running around in diapers and enacting a fetish as an underage middle schooler (BNHA). They aren't putting themselves in whole body makeup and ruining/staining con surfaces & other cosplayers' costumes (Homestuck). They aren't drawing and handcrafting child cocks out of clay and giggling as they discuss the shapes and sizes with each other (Homestuck). They aren't sending death/rape threats to other kids for drawing a fat bitch skinny (Steven Universe).

Homestuck alone caused the very structure of cons to change because there were so many of them ruining shit that they couldn't overlook it anymore. Stricter rules about food gifts started to be passed after Undertale pedo-chick almost ate a fucked up cookie.

Other than cringe content farms, what has TADC actually like...done? Hell, even the creepypasta fandom has had worse incidents between the Slender stabbings, people playing out multiple famous personas, pretending to kill themselves after a few years only to come back (Jasdavink/creator of hoaxton), popular artists doing pedoshit (Chibiworks, SnuffBomb, whatever the name was of the chick who made Sally Williams.
