This ad is use Goole and be like this fag. That will not appeal at all to the majority of men. While some women may be down with, "yaas queen, you go girl" to the fag. It also fails because women don't look to men as an aspirational beauty goals.

Who is it for? A tiny subset of people. I assume the justification would be the brand is so big it doesn't matter but it's just pissing in the wind and will turn off more people than it will encourage to use the service.

This advert makes sense as one element of a wider campaign, showing people from all different walks of life using Google in ways that helps them. You know, maybe another video with a grandma using google to source ingredients for her famous Christmas cookies and a cute apron for her granddaughter to help bake them, then a video with a long distance couple and the boyfriend using google to arrange a surprise for his girlfriend, maybe a video with a Dad who's working in another country arranging a secret trip home for Christmas to surprise his children, a group of friends organising a Christmas meal together etc.

Or if they're dead set on using influencers, something similar with a mummy blogger, some prank thing with a comedy influencer doing a jokey Christmas, a fitness influencer finding gyms open on Christmas day, a cooking influencer sourcing a smoker so they can smoke their Christmas turkey etc. Releasing a single video of a guy in an unflattering off-shoulder top complaining about dry skin and buying a pot of $140 Elemis skincare is utterly mystifying. I have to assume there was some sudden cut back on the advertising budget and they'd already made this one video and decided to release it anyway... because if this one video was their entire intended corporate advertising campaign, then everyone in the Google marketing department must have gotten sick and let the interns organise it.

I know the "it was ai" guy was mistaken but think about it for a second, a good AI that is asked to generate a tranny should absolutely render some high percentage of them with ankle monitors.
