Just bought Wani and I"m making it through.

Already I can say it's better than GBVH since it has fucking MUSIC and isn't just mute for a majority of the time.

Also the shit they offered in the demo wasn't just a cut out section of the game, they put more stuff into the part the demo covers.

Thanks, I found that but my phone was too new for it so can't get it to work sadly. I also wanted to play the beta anyway, so guess it's desktop time to relive it.

I was going to ask if the demo save could be sued to skip what I had already done but seems like it's better to just replay and not sweat the details.

I have left a thumb drive with the full cracked version of Wani somewhere in Los Angeles. Good Luck.
(Wani is not cracked and probably won't be for a while given its niche status, It is literally 15 bucks you can buy it on Itch if you don't want it tied to your steam.)

Well just beat it 100% (unless they add post release content like they did with Snoot).

Got all 4 endings and it took me according to Steam game time 16 hours. That's with me leaving it on to paruse the internet, piss breaks, etc etc.

It's certainly in the same vein as Snoot game. I enjoyed the story and the characters were enjoyable, but I don't know why some things just kind of niggle at me right now.

Namely the pacing. I was expecting the pacing to be more stretched out across the entire school year, but instead they super heavily front load the first semester, and if you get some of the fucking awful endings it literally ends at the formal event. If you don't fuck up you get maybe another 30-45 minutes of scenes to cover the last six months, and the summer months between senior year and the starting of college.

The references weren't nearly as good either? I miss the tiny bit of grit Snoot had when it came to things like 4chan.

I don't know I'm in that odd sort of malaise right now when you completed something you've been highly anticipating for a long time, and once you do it you're left sitting there thinking. "Well fuck, what do I do now?"

Overall if you liked Snoot Game you're going to like Wani about as much. Hopefully they give it a little more post game content like they did with Snoot Game.

I will say, Gator games choices seem really fucking weird. Like, some things score towards 'bad end' that make absolutely zero sense.

My big one is why is pushing Olivia to deal with reality rather than letting her wallow in mourning considered bad? Is that not considered pushing her into bettering herself rather than babying her?

I think it's more the fact you're forcing her to agree to Ben's idea of giving a speech at the memorial literally 5 minutes after she learned he died.
 
So between Mia in Wani and Trish/Naomi who do you think is the better antagonist?

I really found Mia to actually be pretty lacking in terms of 'antagonist' and found Trish and especially Naomi to be way better ancillary forces to the protagonist.

Trish is a meangirl that you can kinda understand when you get to know her better, Naomi however, THAT bitch is fuckin scary. Like, the fact she acts all sweet and friendly, when you know she's manipulative and evil, like Trish would just kick your ass if you piss her off, Naomi wll make sure nobody will find your body if you piss her off.
 
So it's very rare for me to actually breakdown while playing a game. Last game to do that was Hotline Miami 2 after the credits were done and I was staring at the menu. But:

Iadakan's death pushed me over the edge. Granted I didn't break down, but I actually fucking wept.
