GOOD Youtube personalities/channels - The anti-cows if you will

necroing to post the most comfy youtuber i’ve found in a while https://youtube.com/channel/UCIix6MklfJFywa_36iDj8Sw
an azerbaijani grandma and grandpa record their daily life with no commentary just ambience. great background videos, here’s some ones i like alot.

This channel for the most part just feels very early Youtube - simple, short online comedy and songs with nothing but basic but effective editing and next to no equipment besides a shitty (web)cam plus the occasional greenscreen effect and stock footage.
Reminds me of better times.

Napoleon Blownapart

Very informative with desert dry but funny to the point of pain hilarity on martial arts/combat sports. Two of his best here.

The Prim Reaper is a Canadian Registered Psychologist men's rights advocate that discusses men's and gender relations issues.
I'm the Prim Reaper, and I'm here to kill some ideological nonsense.I'm a Master of Counselling graduate and a Registered Psychologist working with men. Although my main focus and primary area of study is in men's issues, I take a lot of interest in the ways that certain ideologies are impacting our public and political discourse. I have set out to challenge a lot of these topics wherever I can, because far too often I feel that people are afraid to speak their minds against it. This has led to a lot of people who feel they can bully others into agreeing with them regardless of what they say.

I think her views are excellent and unbiased, she discusses the topics in great detail. I've been watching her for a long time (5+ years) and so far she's consistently made good videos. She makes drawings of her persona character that she uses as slideshow animations which is really cute.

I'll list some of my favorites that haven't been posted previously, with one of my favorite videos of theirs underneath it.

Ordinary Sausage - They're anything but. I have seen this man choke on fumes from poison sausages more times than I can count, my most highly recommended of this bunch.

Premodernist - Excellent history youtuber covering many niche topics from a unique angle, if you like history, just watch him.

Qxir - Awesome Irish guy who does videos on a variety of niche historical subjects, probably the best replacement for Sam O'Nella, since that man posts like once every two years these days.

Onion Dweller - Autistic British man still makes his cartoon parodies the old-fashioned way, unironically the best spiritual successor to Ongezellig.

Jack Rackam - Comedic history youtuber, airs a bit on the reddit-y side, but he's good.

History Matters - Short-form history content with a bit of deadpan British humor tossed in for good measure.

Big Boss - Very much akin to Internet Historian's old content before he changed direction, if you're looking for that vibe, he is a good replacement.

Ghost Gum - Makes videos on a variety of internet subjects, again, sort of in the vain of Internet Historian.

Privileged Bug Facts - Videos about bugs, what more to say?

Riveting Material - Variety act analyzing games, movies and TV, needs many more subscribers, video below is less about the games that came before Minecraft, and more about the psyche of a successful artist.

2swap - Outstanding videos about mathematics, mind-bending visualizations of complex math stuff. Highly recommend.

BobbyBroccoli - Makes videos at the intersection of science and history, below is Ep. 1 of a two part series about what is essentially Canadian Enron, very good stuff.

Pilgrims Pass - Brazilian media analysis youtuber, I haven't actually seen a lot of his stuff, but this video is very good.

moldbun - Eclectic Valve game youtuber, his videos range from very well made literary analysis, to old Game Theory-esque scientific analyses of game worlds, to very high-effort shitposts that almost seem serious, until you realize they aren't.

Tribunate - Well-read Roman historytuber, 100% a leftist bent, but a very talented guy with a very well-made and educational channel.

Townsends - Videos about historical life and particularly food, with an emphasis on Old America.

That'll just about do it for now, but I know I've missed a lot, if you guys like these, I'll post more at a later date!

Channel name: Dream Jelly
Content: 90's, 00's nostalgia. Calm / relaxing /informative

This is a channel that I have a bit of a soft spot for. There are many channels about retro this or that but they're all men (or trannies). I'm really tired of hearing another fucking Billiam esque guy talk about B-daman or whatever the fuck, and all their videos are basically the same to one another. DreamJelly here is an interesting niche, as a guy, it's pretty fascinating to hear a girl's perspective on stuff I remember from my childhood. And it is pretty fun reflecting back on shit like the LiteBrite and Scholastic Book Fairs. (obviously your mileage will vary heavily depending on how old you are, this content is for awful, cursed millennials such as myself)

Calm, interesting videos and she has a very inoffensive but pleasant sense of humor.
I won't link a direct vid because I think the embeds look awful on the site, but honestly any title vid that sounds relevant to you will be pretty enjoyable.

Also, I like that her little avatar is the cool 90's computer kid.

NO I DON'T THINK SHE'S A TRANNY IF SHE'S A TRANNY I SWEAR TO GOD I AM GOING TO MINECRAFT SOMEDODY'S MAILBOX, IN BOMBERMAN 64

I recently discovered SteinFab Garage and he's....something.

It's like being transported to a land where everything is dented, nothing works quite right, the yard is 70% non-running cars by volume, and occasionally someone takes apart an entire CVT transmission while blazed as fuck and refusing to look up any instructions. It's also a very enlightening because this environment absolutely shatters the illusion of incomprehensible complexity with a lot of car shit.

Yet another batch of cool youtubers and videos I like from them! Some of these guys are a bit soy/cringe, but I like all of them!

A Skeleton - Guy reviews games in a skeleton costume, pretty fun! Reminiscent of old school game reviewers

Captain Midnight - Media commentator, he has a lot of decent takes on topical subjects relating to movies and television. (I'm only just realizing he has pretty clickbait-y titles lmao)

Ramm & The Lamb - Mexican guy who analyzes video game storytelling, best known for his videos on Fallout.

Secret Base - A channel that's mostly about sports, but I don't watch any of that crap, for some unknown reason they occasionally pop out high quality videos telling humorous stories about historical subjects, this is what I watch from them and I very strongly recommend them!

(Note: These videos, and especially the series below, while factually accurate, are steeped in the author's own bias as he uses the history to tell a story. Take it with a grain of salt because you might disagree with him!)

LowSpecGamer - Makes factual videos at the intersection of engineering and gaming, give him a watch if you like that stuff!

Asianometry - Ostensibly a channel about a variety of factual subjects, "Business, economics, and history" so he says, but most of his videos are about engineering!

Epimetheus - History youtuber, makes easily digested history content with nice visuals, good stuff.

Old Britannia - Historytuber who makes little documentaries in the span of history between the Napoleonic era and WWI largely from a British perspective.

The Templin Institute - Videos about fantasy and sci-fi worldbuilding, the channel's gimmick is that they are supposedly a multiversal educational institution and they basically LARP as that, it's fun.

GeoHistory - Videos following the timeline of events throughout history pertaining to a certain idea with neat map visuals.

Moth Light Media - Videos primarily about prehistoric biology, but with some other general scientific subjects mostly relating to biology.

Tor's Cabinet Of Curiosity - Variety act, this guy makes a lot of different stuff, but I'd sum it up as telling a story about niche historical subjects, you might like him, you might find him very annoying Gen-Z, you be the judge!

New Frame Plus - A channel about video game animations. If you ever watched Extra Credits, this is where Dan went after he left. Don't worry, this channel is basically apolitical unlike Extra Credits!

Drue Langlois - One of my favorite indie animators, famous for his rotoscoped animation style and dry humor, known for his two series, Dudes Of Hazmat and Staying Positive In The Apocalypse!

decino - Dutch guy who makes videos mostly about Doom. Secrets, playthroughs of WADs, glitches and histories and such. Truly kanker lekker.

Kid Leaves Stoop - Last but certainly not least, Kid Leaves Stoop, this is one of my favorite tubers to come out in a while, before mysteriously disappearing. He talks about niche animation and media stuff, his channel and his videos are stylish, funny and informative, I hope he comes back!

And that'll do it for now, I hope you guys enjoy at least one of these, or if you find my taste in videos to be dogshit, feel free to call me a retard!

I don’t know if horror stories/creepypastas are still anyone’s cup of tea considering how past prime they are, but this one particular guy, The Dark Somnium narrates rather immersive stories and does a really good job, he’s also a music composer as well and has a great hold on the creepypasta scene.

Voices of the Past - History channel specializing in readings and interpretations of primary historical sources, that is to say, firsthand accounts of history. This channel has long been a staple of mine, and I highly recommend to anyone who likes history!

The Electric Underground (A): game reviewer who's already ahead of 99% of them by not just giving out a summary for 45 minutes and review for 5 minutes. He basically only talks about gameplay and focuses on character action, action RPG, arcade, and shmups. I don't even agree with him 100% of the time, but I rarely if ever find his takes to be outright wrong. He has a thread here.

Daniel Hentschel (A): bald man who bounces between Andy Kaufman-esque vlogs, California nature documentaries, and short films. Sometimes gets real; a little too real, even.

Obsolete Oddity

He covers a lot of macabre vintage historical stories about interesting people, and I love the way he styles his videos and designs them.
