There's a couple things I can sperg about in this area, so here goes:
For Stalker, I only have a bit of experience with Call of Chernobyl, but I have a LOT of experience with Narodnaya Solyanka OP-2. The short version is, it's bloated with shit tons of artificial difficulty and you need guides and help forums to get anywhere. Fun though in its own ways.
Skyrim is my main focus. I've tried a lot of mods. Honestly, this is going to be me being autistic as all fuck so, here goes, ratings be damned:
Armors and Clothing: Pretty much anything by nsk13 and the bikini armors by Niesa, but while I haven't tried it lately there's apparently a new mod called World of Bikini Armor that's everything in one, and includes an ebony one which is really well done.
The thing I like about it though isn't just the sexy look. Unlike many armor sets, vanilla or modded, which just have gauntlets, armor, boots, and helmet, the bikini armors have several different pieces like lower stomach plating, bra, panty, gauntlets, boots and separate leg armors, upper and lower face armors. Yeah it gets a bit cheatsy if you grind smithing, but you can improve each individual piece of have high armor rating and get a great overall rating.
There's a bunch of others in my personal collection, but I need to reorganize it. I remember there's one that replaces the Dark Brotherhood armor and the ancient armor with a black and red(respectively)skintight outfit that's well textured and not just a shitty shiny latex catsuit. There's Osare Hotpants.
In fact, one of my favorite getups is actually barely revealing: combine Regal Huntsman armor with Mask of Blades. Looks excellent.
I won't bother writing a fucking essay, I feel ashamed enough airing my Skyrim obsessions as it is. There's a lot in various categories, from weapons, to simple stuff.
But the thing I love the most is magic. Combine Colorful Magic, Lost Grimoire, and Apocalypse Spell Pack with Ordinator for perks, Summer/Wintermyst for enchanting, Thunderchild and Individual Shout Cooldowns for shouts, and you're golden.
I hated that when Skyrim first came out. I couldn't do shit with magic. It was garbage. With those above mods though, you can become a god with enough dedication to magic over the course of a playthrough. I prefer to use an older version of Ordinator though, because Enai loves constantly changing shit and last I checked he removed some real nice stuff from the Alchemy tree just because he didn't feel it was true to alchemy(I think one was World Serpent, a perk that iirc had more to do with shouts than alchemy?).
Apocalypse is pretty balanced, Lost Grimoire I forgot a bit about but about the same. Colorful Magic though, is all about flair. Mostly destruction magic and it's over the top, flashy, well designed, and devastating.
There's also any mods by Elysees or kksung, to list a couple more off. I'll stop here for now. If I ever get around to re-organizing my mod collection in the next few days I might sperg some more here.
