-Well, Here's one I remember from a few years ago when the winter was pretty bad in the Midwest. I was walking home from dinner and I turned into my street. There was this old lady that lived by herself on my street that was taking out her garbage. It was cold as fucking hell that my coat did barely anything to keep me warm. Not wanting to see her hurt, I walked over and did her job for her while she stayed inside where it was warm. Not to mention, the snow covered some patches of slick ice. After I was done, she offered me some money which I politely declined because I did it because I wanted to and not for money. Even though I was freezing afterwards, it was worth it. I also swept and shoveled her walkway as well.

Just last Saturday I gave some change and half a bottle of Slivovitz alongside a warm stuffed potato to the town's alcoholic - and then we went to get a coffee together. He's a sad and lonely old man, so everytime someone gives him some money and attentions it's Christmas to him.

Best random act of kindness? Probably when I walked past some broken glass on the sidewalk (what bum does that) and then walked past this girl walking a cute little dog— warned her about the glass and she carried the little terrier the rest of the block.
