I liked him in The Walking Dead. And his character on SOA was great and such a tragic character.
Opie dying was the most tragic thing in that show. He voiced Thor in GoW Ragnarok and I thought it was well done, idk why they decided to make him Kratos though. Surely there's a beefhead bald Greek that would be better.
What made it so tragic was how he died. Dude went out like a G and his best friend had to watch.

So they gender swapped this IP too like Ratchet and Clank, it's pathetic. This is gonna fail miserably, it show these studios have learned nothing after billions of dollars spent making these woke flops.
Why does all Western live-action look so shitty now? It isn't just the outfits, casting, make-up etc., it just looks so amateurish. This looks like something I would expect a Youtuber's fan film made with his 1000 buck a month patreon budget, not a major production from one of the biggest corporations on planet earth. I figured this was coming. God of Bore: Crackrock already made Kratos a eunuch, to the point that he bitched out and let a woman beat the big bad for him while she shouted "Bow to your KWEEN!". There was a zero percent chance they would have a male, let alone a White male, be the main character after all but announcing that they hated Kratos. On the plus side, this will absolutely finally kill this "franchise", thank God, and I look forward to it dying finally.
So it's either a pointless prequel since all the characters involved are dead and the only thing of note will be discovering that Atreus is Thor's child and Kratos literally raises his "wife's child" or it's a sequel where it's revealed she didn't die but either abandoned her family, or did everything so Kratos and Atreus will succeed.
