What excuse do y'all think Glitch is going to pull if they decide to not do GD or KoG before GOv? Like, obviously the real reason is because merch, but they can't say that outright, so they need some kind of sugar-coated, honeyed statement to trick convince people that they have a perfectly good reason for not doing shows in order of pilot release.

I don't expect it considering it's been over a year since gaslight pilot but if it's the case they will lie and say some bullshit like "We actually promised Ross we would do this back in 2017 so Gameoverse gets priority over gaslight. He deserves this more than everyone else because no one supported him for 13 years or something. You better buy the overpriced Kit labubus or indie animation dies."

What are your thoughts on this?

Also, look at this.

I'll see if I can muster the patience to sit through it eventually but masterpiece does not belong in the same sentence as Murder Drones.
Also moseying down to the comments section the creator seems to think it's okay that the show answers almost no questions and that it's "About the characters." but the characters fucking suck too!
I genuinely do not get how anyone looks at this and is amazed by it beyond the visuals and music maybe. The story is shit (because there really is none because Liam left it out on purpose apparently.) and the characters are not good enough to carry the series, so what does that leave? A pretty looking turd, but still a turd.

Now throw her into HM2, see how she reacts to THAT ending... Or even witness the fight between Jacket and Butcher. There is a point to be had where throwing Kit into all sorts of games (and thus violent situations) would actually make the show more interesting. I posted some HGPC gameoverse crossover art before and that game would actually be halfway interesting to throw her into.
Or even something like payday, or CS, or arma, or GTA. Have it be more so a parody or satirising entire genre's of games. Of course Ross is a shit writer and likely is just also not well versed in all sorts of video games so we will never get that.
Because glitch gets paid by Epic Games to render their shows in unreal engine.

Them also being partnered with Epic to render their shit in unreal should tell you about the validity of using unreal... To be honest, UE has a lot of user-friendly upsides to it which makes it the easiest to use compared to other software. There is also the fact they are expanding at a rapid rate, so they need a lot of new hires. UE is going to be the thing most new apprentices work on for rendering so it is incentivised to use the easiest engine to use for rendering. Even if it makes a show look like dogwater

There's also the fact that UE had performance issues that were so bad the animators couldn't use certain features, like Booleans.

I’ve been told Jax was a particularly difficult character to get the rig right with – what challenges does Jax pose that other characters don’t?

“That is correct Jax was and still is a challenging character, with the range of expressions and how close the eyes and mouth can get, I often refer to him as Cyn on steroids from a rigger’s perspective where he has similar issues to Cyn and the Murderdones, getting the mouth deformation from Maya into UE while keeping good performance (so we couldn’t use Boolens like I’ve seen a lot of fan MD modes use) and having his underlying teeth and eyes be able to move so we can push the teeth very high and the eyes very low on his face.”
This is what Booleans are BTW:

Paradox games/spreadsheet simulators. An episode where all they do is boring paperwork while all the cool action is happening off-screen.

Yes, there's fan art of her helping Hitler in Hearts of Iron IV.

Kit Bodega has to help TNO Germany win against the OFN… Absolute total clusterfuck. Either that or play as one of the American factions in TFR. That’d be funny as hell. Also with HOI4 it’d be funny to see her get bogged down in the ship building due to the new updates requiring you to spend a fuck lapd of time tinkering around in them.

Seeing her play CK3 or Vic3 would be hilarious too.
One of those European forklift simulator games :story:
Kit playing farming simulator or some shit

I wonder if they ever considered using a different program for the ease of porting from Maya to whatever said program would be. There’s no way they don’t have money for industry veterans with their own tools to use to actually help them. Although them being payed by epic to use UE would negate that.

WAIT WHY IS THE PLANET FALLING APART HITLER WON!?

I'm sure it's probably obvious to everyone at this point but I'll be the first to say it out loud I suppose.
I think we can all agree, Gameoverse's concept probably would've worked better as something more episodic (While it is only episode 1 I have a feeling there's going to be some big overarching narrative or at least a shitty attempt at one.) and comedy focused, a "don't think about it too hard." kind of show. But instead, once again, they're choosing to make it some dramatic bullshit with DEEP LORE probably and dark and griddy undertones. (Okay, more like safe edgy at best because they're pussies.) *sigh*
Am I the only one tired of... whatever the right term would be "Cartoony thing is actually fucked up, slop?" I need to think of a shorterhand term for it... deep lore slop? Yeah that sounds better.
Plus the benefit of a show committing to not taking itself seriously is you don't have to worry about the lore or logic making sense! The problem is when you take it seriously, the audience does too and they start micro analyzing it and realize how retarded it is.

Once again, I blame Adventure Time.
