This is effectively how you can cure Strabismus. Sometimes, the musculature in one eye is overbearing and this causes the eye to cross. As a result, the good eye will overcompensate while bad eye will start to become weaker. Certain glasses can be worn that will force you to correct your own vision. Pinhole glasses are a good example:Didn't Null post that one thing where that guy "cured" himself of wearing glasses by just exercising his eyes?
That would be me friend... been wearing the same pair of specs since 2001. When I can't see outtta 'em anymore, or they crumble to dust, I'll get new ones, lol.thats what amazed me too, contacts barely cost fucking anything whereas glasses still are about as much as a smart phone. i guess you could argue its because you could wear the same glasses forever but how many people do that?
Vision Direct, they're based in the UK but post internationally except to the US.on the subject of contacts, I'm running low on disposables and feeling too damn lazy to get a fresh script
is there any shady contact lens dot com type site where they won't ask for a script if I fill out all the numbers?
This is apparently possible. On the L1 Tech show they mentioned a type of glasses that exercises your eyes and is proven to improve eyesight very effectively. They were made by an Asian company and unknown in the West. I've not been able to find the episode or time where they name it though. But I'd love to hear if anybody can point me at them. It wasn't flim-flam, they were proven to work.Didn't Null post that one thing where that guy "cured" himself of wearing glasses by just exercising his eyes?
Holy fuck! How much? Who the Hell pays $800 for glasses? In bongland an eye test is free and you can get normal-looking glasses made for £60. More designer ones for £100+.paying $800 every yea
contacts really don't take much longer once you get used to them, like, from walking to the bathroom to walking out will be all of sixty secondsI hate the very concept of contacts. I'm not putting shit in my eyes every day. I'll stick putting on my glasses in five seconds.
Dole bum detected. It's only free if you don't contribute to society, are over 60, under 16(?), or already have significant eye problems AFAIKin bongland an eye test is free
metoo (20+ years ago)I got eye surgery 10 years ago ...

Get a cotton bud (q-tip for the burgers) and bend it in half so it works like a pair of tweezers. It's smaller than your fingers and doesn't lose it's grip when it gets wet.Contacts really really hard to take out?
Been wearing contacts a long time with no problems. Around feb a new brand "Total 30".
These seem the same as any other most days until night some days. They can be hard as hell to get out, I stick my finger up there and slide to the side but nothing happens, it doesn't move. I keep trying and trying and eventually get it. Saturday night I had so many problems I guess I broke vessels in my eye and caused a "red blotch in the white area" that's still there a bit today.
It's not every day and it's more likely to happen if I've had my eyes closed a bit, like if I fall asleep a bit early and wake up a half hour later to get to bed for real.
Is there a one weird trick to make this easier? Get back on my old brand? Or should I go to the doc's office with my favorite minecraft controller?
