This is a discussion about Hot Sauces, Snacks and Food Items that advertise themselves as extremely hot but end up being sugarcoated.

Burger King Spicy Chicken Nuggets ™️. They're practically just painted red but at least there we like a dollar.

Here, have some real shit.

Any place that sells hot wings and uses names like thermonuclear or three mile island for their hottest sauces. I've eaten real ghost pepper sauce and that stuff makes your mouth go numb. Those gimmicky wing sauces? They barley feel stronger than jalapeno or even habenero peppers

And they overdo it with sweet additives to try and combat the hot, as if the heat isn't the point. The sweetness is what makes me feel sick as well, not the capscacin.

The current spicy Chex Mix. Tried it a few years back and could not stand how bland it was behind the burn. Heard the old spicy Chex Mix was much better than this chemical burn stuff. Most flaming hot flavors are either this or absurdly mild for its intended audience.

I can forgive fast food places having really mild spicy food. They need to sell to more than just chili heads. Too spicy and you could get lawsuits from retards.

Better off just getting a good selection of spices and hot sauces. Much healthier.

There is this ghost pepper salsa that is genuinely the hottest thing I have ever eaten. It is really good but it's only sold in a giant jar (at least around me) so unless I'll eat a ton a day it'll go bad before I finish it. I'd love to buy it but I just can't spend money on something I'll ultimately have to throw out.

I had some Paqui ghost pepper chips at least a year ago and I gotta say that they were pretty fucking spicy, delicious if you can handle the pain. Slightly off topic but the other day I tried to make tteokbokki or Korean spicy rice cakes and didn't have the spicy paste the recipe called for, so instead (being the retard I was) I used the extremely spicy Ghost Pepper sauce I bought my father a few years ago as a joke.

TLDR: Don't do that.

What spicy ramen brands actually ARE spicy without a ton of additives making them taste like shit? The ones that taste good typically only have the meat flavoring added while those that claim to be "hot" seem to typically go overboard with nonsense, or are weaksauce.
