I haven't tried clip-ons since I was a kid, and I remember hating how the squeezing felt. Honestly don't know how anyone can put up with that.

Implant-grade titanium is also fine. If you do wear gold while healing, make sure it's high quality. Some lower quality gold alloys have nickel.Get any re piercing done with a needle at a proper place and only wear gold or steel until fully healed then go for it
I have two piercings in each earlobe. The lower ones were done with a piercing gun at Claire's when I was 10, and the upper ones were done with a needle at a piercing shop 8 years ago. Only the upper ones have a "bead." The lower ones are softer and don't get irritated as easily. Go figure. (Still don't get pierced with a gun, it's a bad idea.)This actually heals poorly, and you can feel a "bead" in the earlobe if it is done with a piercing gun (squeeze the earlobe and roll your fingers around, you'll feel something like a bead inside).
I also love this. Especially at Christmas time.I love studs, but am also a big fan of goofy gimmick earrings for seasonal occasions like Christmas or Halloween.
1988?? Oh lord I feel old.On the topic of men with piercings, I liked the look of Jason Dean (played by Christian Slater) from Heathers when I was younger:

I did my second ones myself. Wasn’t that bad, and they healed faster than the ones they did with the gun.Surprised I didnt see anyone say they DIY'ed it ITT yet
I've never understood why mothers do this to their babies unless it's just a visual way of telling others they view their children as dolls to play dress-up with. I have no idea why it is these places don't turn them away unless they're all done at home.Related opinion: It's monstrous to pierce children's ears, especially babies. I disdain parents who pierce their babies' ears assuming that they'll want earrings when they grow up.
It’s funny how there are certain lines that mothers divide neatly on, and ear piercing is one of them.I've never understood why mothers do this to their babies unless it's just a visual way of telling others they view their children as dolls to play dress-up with. I have no idea why it is these places don't turn them away unless they're all done at home.
