General Wrestling Discussion

And you seem to not thing that people like Becky don't deserve these matches. Charlotte get's things handed to her because of who she is, the other women don't. Even Natalya needs to work for what she get's because her father isn't well known anymore and no one liked him to begin with.
she's never got a damn thing handed to her that she didnt eearn, and i dont understand this attitude when wwe usually uses familial relations to legends as justification to jobbing them out endlessly. notto mention that ric flair has had a really fucking shaky history with the company even to this day so its not like they feel beholden to him

and becky isnt very good to be quite frank with you

its funny that you bring up natalya btw

natalyas more experienced, a harder worker, more talented in every way, and shes a hart. but aj lee had that sort of rose-tinted glasses effect that people had for sasha and people still do for becky to some extent.

wwe chose to push aj lee over her, and it came back to bite them big time. now they're making sure they dont lose out on charlotte in the same way and people shit on them for it, so it's just really fuckin ironic to me

I'm glad Asuka's streak is over. It was strangling creative...
it shouldnt, but wwe seems pretty bad at managing streaks these days.

they get thei rheads so far embedded in their asses whenever any sort of statistic their announcers can rattle off gets involved that its all tehy fosus on

its for the best that it ended, especially with the womens division still seeming so small when you split it between two brands (for some arbitary reason)

It needed to end. It was so bad that Asuka couldn't even lose a random tangential storyline noone cared about (mixed tag match) It literally ruined that entire tournament.

I'm ok with Balor having a homo gimmick if it ends up with him dressing like Goldust or Hard Gay and being really sexually aggressive to AJ Styles.

Because its 2018.

I don't get it, US belt, Asuka and Cena/Taker are in the first half of the show? Do they do things reverse-like now and have matches get progressively less interesting as the night goes on?
Remember when they opened one with Daniel Bryan getting squashed in a title match ?

Asuka lossing didn't ruin the event but make WM feels different. They should have put the match latter (before the Bryan return or Braun match).
Like it was a show to surprise and nothing more.
Still, it wasn't a bad show.
I'm just baffled they didn't have her and Rousey tear through the roster for a year and have a showdown at next year's wrestlemania streak vs streak. It would have been without a doubt the biggest women's match of all time.

Also apparently after the main event, Lesnar got into a shouting match with Vince and allegedly threw down the belt and stormed off lolwwe

Anybody know why? All I hear is that something changed with the finish

Nothing on that yet, but there's talk about dropping the belt to someone else like a returning Lashly

The kid Strowman choose for this partner wasn't a Cena Make a Wish reject, but a child of one of the referees.
