Ministry Taker might be his best overall Deadman look, and as hokey as it was in execution I think the idea of that version of the character was also its peak. If not tied with the "Prince of Darkness" Vs Kane/Mankind era.

Him being this outright satanic, batshit crazy cult leader works so well and it's probably the best talking Taker ever did before the latter half of his Biker days.

It's also funny to look back on Ministry Taker and see just how much Bray was pulling from it for his character. He might have styled himself visually off Weylon Mercy but he was just doing Swamp Man Ministry

tbh i kinda think ministry was his worst era especially when it dragged on and went into shit like the corporate ministry

That Collision was the drizzling shits. Best thing about it was Samoa Joe choking the life out of Phil but they did the finish of the match dirty as the camera guy wasn't in position to get a good shot of the clothesline from Brodie King. Luckily they had another guy on the other side for it but it didn't look as good as it could have been on the hard cam as that camera guy would have had a better angle. Of course Phil would take another shot at Hangman Adam Page in the after match promo that was off the air because well Phil is an asshole. He claims he's the better merch seller but how's that tranny shirt selling Punk? Even Hangman never had to do that to get over with the Left. He's also saying he's the heart and soul of the company. Funny since fans want him gone.

I guess there was a sign in the crowd that said "Hangman was right" and Phil decided to have another fit. Fucking manchild.

Tony tried to make the fans sympathetic to a 70 year old man that Ricky "attacked" despite how biased Steamboat was towards Phil winning so to me, Ricky is still the face in that.

Punk claiming he "works with a bunch of children" when he can't stop trying to start shit with the Elite again is fairly typical behaviour for him. He's never at fault.

He's still isn't happy even though he has been given his own show whilst the Elite signed new multi-year deals with the company and have left Phil in the rear-view mirror.

To be fair they were booing the fact that Ricky Steamboat got attacked by Starks but they were cheering for Samoa Joe

He hates children. Hell, you have to pay him to be around autistic people.
It says a lot when Phil has to try and talk shit about them when they're no longer on air. Try and cut a promo on them when it's live on air next time and fans will care. Currently no one does.

Sadly Punk's tranny shirt is selling very well.

As for the issue of peg-warming figures, Page's original figure sold well (mainly because it was one of the first waves of AEW figures to have decent distribution, meaning you could find it on shelves) but in the name of rushing out product and AEW having a deal with Wal-Mart to produce "exclusive" figures, they put out a second Hangman figure with a cowboy shirt and IIRC world title that was a huge flop as far as stores having huge number of unsold copies of them laying around.

CM Punk's figures have sold very well (he has always been a big seller action-figurewise) and if anything, Nyla Rose, Dax Harwood (who's figure has a REALLY REALLY REALLY god-awful head sculpt that looks NOTHING like Dax), the Street Fighter/Elite figures, and the entire Dark Order wave (which was missing the one Dark Order guy people actually wanted, IE Ten/Preston Vance) are the most notable shelf-warmers alongside the Cowboy shirt Adam Page. With Nyla Rose being probably the biggest peg warmer of them all.

(and before anyone says anything, Brandy Rhode's action figure was an early figure in the line and had really bad distribution so she was actually pretty hard to find like most of the first batch of AEW figures).

It's a bit of a shame really; AEW figures are pretty decent but their character selection fucking sucks a lot of the time. Besides the issue of no Ten figure (which we will now never get since Preston's taken off his mask and basically became Rush's job guy), we never got FTR in their luchadore outfits even though it was the sort of stunt bit that seemed to be made for a limited edition release, Jericho and his goons in their Blood and Guts prison outfits two-three years after the match where they wore them, the utter fail with regards to Dax's headsculpts, and the fact that we had money wasted on shit like the Street Fighter/Elite figures no one wanted.

Punk continues to exhibit 90s Shawn Michaels behavior if this report is true.
It appears that CM Punk is reportedly possibly in the middle of some booking issues for AEW talent Ryan Nemeth, according to the latest report from Fightful Select.

Fightful has confirmed that Nemeth arrived to work for the "Collision" tapings, but an unnamed AEW coach told him that he wasn't actually needed for the show and there was a flight ready and booked to send him back home.

How Punk fits into the middle of this is since his return to AEW on June 17 for the debut episode of "Collision," the brand has been Punk's home, and Punk has past issues with Nemeth. Per the report, when Punk first returned, he called out Nemeth because of a tweet about Punk being the "softest" man alive. The confrontation was not said to have been physical.

Nemeth is also constantly on The Elite's YouTube show, "Being the Elite." This report from Fightful comes after Punk went on a rant about "Hangman" Adam Page after the August 12 episode of "Collision" went off the air.

He's apparently banned a lot of people from his show despite claiming he had no control there. Ryan isn't allowed to be near Phil because he called Phil the Softest Man Alive. He's not wrong. Hangman was supposed to be there to record a promo but was asked to leave. Daniels is also not allowed to be there. Even though he's part of the Production crew as Head of Talent Relations or whatever. Matt Hardy too.

Oh, and apparently the Hangman promo wasn't planned or approved. So Phil just doing his thing like usual. Luckily he just proved that people like Hangman more than him.

FTR's association with Phil has been really hurting them in the eyes of the fans. Everyone sees them for what they are. Phil's ballwashers.

FTR have always been grifting faggots who latch on to whoever is more famous than them. Because if they don't, no one would care about the dollar general Brain Busters
