Yeah, I wouldn't be shocked if a lot of shit comes to light about the current generation of wrestlers. The Speaking Out movement showed that they're not much better than the generations before. But has the culture really changed? The shit we hear about wrestlers from the past, we didn't know about (much) in real time. What twisted shit the current crop of wrestlers may be up to will we hear about 10-20 years from now. Most wrestlers do not seem like well adjusted people.
They do get into less bar fights, which is due to most of them not going to bars after matches, the fact that no one knows who they are and a lot of them are not legitimately huge or tough guys like they used to be. With rare exception, most guys from the territories until the early 00s could legitimately fuck up most random folks. Even the "smaller" guys from back then, like Martel or Bret Hart, were big dudes compared to the normal population. Compare that to guys like Lio Rush.
I doubt the drug culture has changed much, either. You hear about guys like ADR and Paige doing cocaine and others who become addicted to pain pills despite there being (supposed) testing.
They probably don't get as many groupies as the guys from generations before, but that's mainly due to wrestling being less popular. With that would be less pedophilia, grooming and just sexual degeneracy in general. However, as the Speaking Out movement showed, it still goes on. In martial arts gyms, it's unfortunately not rare that women get groomed. I am sure it's similar in pro wrestling schools and on the indie scene in general.
I'd be surprised if we don't hear about similar shit 20 years down the line. If the rumors are true, AEW after parties are pretty crazy
