Considering this sites history. I'm making a thread about web registrars, I want to know the ones that are not price hiking your domain after a year (flat pricing) or those who have a WHOIS privacy?

List some good ones in this thread as well as the ones that are shit.

Context: All the AI results puts Cloudflare as the top one, so I'm a little skeptical of the search results. Considering Porkbun, but I want to check in with this site before doing anything retarded.

CF is the way to go I'd say if you care about speed and efficiency and all that. There are beneficial features to using CF for a registar if you also use them as a hosting provider, etc. Personally I've always used namecheap and had no issues, but my next ones will probably be registered with CF.

Thank you! Nice list from the sneeder himself.

namecheap looks promising.

I've never had an issue with any registrar, unless you are high profile like the kiwi farms I'd go for whatever is cheapest/offers the best features.

Pretty much any reputable registrar will have WHOIS privacy provided the tld supports it. And (for traditional ICANN-controlled gtlds at least), a domain can't be taken from you just because the registrar doesn't like it. They can force you to transfer to a different registrar, however

Anyway my favourites are Porkbun and Namecheap, both are good in my experience. Good pricing. My one complaint is Porkbun didn't let me register a domain with "nigger" in it, while Namecheap did

i've used namecheap without any major issues although their site is archaic and it's a pain to set up DNS records. just don't use godaddy, from what i hear it's nothing but pain.

Porkbun + CF is what I do. I've used a couple domain registrars and Porkbun was always bullshit free and competitive. Fuck places like GoDaddy
