yep. dude apparently had a family, which is one of the more understandable reasons to abandon a webcomic
That's based on them to do. Family comes First.
Small edit but I do wanna talk about this unknown webcomic someone in my friend group mentioned. I'll tell you the full story.
So, I have this homie who tells me stories about this old webcomic originally hosted over on SmackJeeves. The host, sadly, is no longer around, but the comic is still archived in a few places.

Luckily, as we both knew the site would shut down soon, we saved as much as we were able. This even included the comments originally written on it. After reading some, it's no wonder why my bud still remembers this guy. The comic is almost 200 pages long, but apparently this was a reboot to the comic he worked on with the original author. I was told that version had over 800 pages. The bad news is that the first version was deleted long ago. It's a wild story, but I'll tell you a lot of drama went down regarding this webcomic. Both my homie and the comments would shed some light on the whole thing. For now, to prevent overwhelming you guys to much, here's the first few pages of Crazy Comics.
I also have the comments for the first page. Due to a dumb update applied to SmackJeeves in its last couple of years, the oldest comment is on the bottom instead of the top. In case you're wondering, not all the pages have comments on them.
The good news is that the Wayback Machine saved a few pieces of the comic. We not only have the original layout saved, but we also have a few bits of the first version of Crazy Comics.
As my bro and I share more info, you'll see some other folks involved with all this. While we don't know what happened to Crazy Koopa, we still know what became of almost everyone else. The two more interesting ones are Ridge Troopa and especially his older sister, Jester. Ridge is someone we'll discuss much later. While he wasn't directly involved with the comic, he did enable Crazy on a few other websites (including getting him promoted as a moderator on one old Mario fan site). As for Jester, she is still active over on FaceBook. If you look at her profile, you'll find she's really nuts, just like her brother.
So, we're posting it here not to give you a new lolcow to find. Instead, this is for the sake of preserving some fascinating history of the early web to our best ability. We have screenshots, but I'm afraid some of the information is only from my pal's memory.
