This site's founding orbits the creation of a webcomic, the one and only Sonichu by Chris-chan. We have all been gathered together because of the phenomenon of creators making art for the masses. Good, Bad, Ugly, Furry, Japanese, Korean . . . It really doesn't matter. Fans will be fans and everyone is a future fan of something they haven't discovered. Give suggestions. Give warnings. Sperg and Sneed.

This is a list to make the thread seem more official but discussion should not be limited to this list.
  • Red Meat
  • One Punch Man
  • Tails Get Trolled
  • Asperchu
  • Sonichu
  • The God of High School
  • Penny Arcade
  • Digger
  • Megatokyo
  • Crazy Food Truck

I enjoyed Penny Arcade a lot back when I still cared about video games, and as far as I know it’s still a good comic. I never read Asperchu but I like Alec Benson Leary. I respect One Punch Man for making it from webcomic to popular tv show. Other than that I don’t know shit about webcomics.

This shit was literally my childhood. One of the only spiritual successors to Calvin & Hobbes that actually comes somewhat close to capturing that comic's spirit, IMO.

^this one too

yep. dude apparently had a family, which is one of the more understandable reasons to abandon a webcomic
That's based on them to do. Family comes First.

Small edit but I do wanna talk about this unknown webcomic someone in my friend group mentioned. I'll tell you the full story.

So, I have this homie who tells me stories about this old webcomic originally hosted over on SmackJeeves. The host, sadly, is no longer around, but the comic is still archived in a few places.

Luckily, as we both knew the site would shut down soon, we saved as much as we were able. This even included the comments originally written on it. After reading some, it's no wonder why my bud still remembers this guy. The comic is almost 200 pages long, but apparently this was a reboot to the comic he worked on with the original author. I was told that version had over 800 pages. The bad news is that the first version was deleted long ago. It's a wild story, but I'll tell you a lot of drama went down regarding this webcomic. Both my homie and the comments would shed some light on the whole thing. For now, to prevent overwhelming you guys to much, here's the first few pages of Crazy Comics.

I also have the comments for the first page. Due to a dumb update applied to SmackJeeves in its last couple of years, the oldest comment is on the bottom instead of the top. In case you're wondering, not all the pages have comments on them.

The good news is that the Wayback Machine saved a few pieces of the comic. We not only have the original layout saved, but we also have a few bits of the first version of Crazy Comics.

As my bro and I share more info, you'll see some other folks involved with all this. While we don't know what happened to Crazy Koopa, we still know what became of almost everyone else. The two more interesting ones are Ridge Troopa and especially his older sister, Jester. Ridge is someone we'll discuss much later. While he wasn't directly involved with the comic, he did enable Crazy on a few other websites (including getting him promoted as a moderator on one old Mario fan site). As for Jester, she is still active over on FaceBook. If you look at her profile, you'll find she's really nuts, just like her brother.

So, we're posting it here not to give you a new lolcow to find. Instead, this is for the sake of preserving some fascinating history of the early web to our best ability. We have screenshots, but I'm afraid some of the information is only from my pal's memory.

Última edición:
My homie and I both agreed to provide updates to the comic every few days or so. That way, I won't flood this thread too quickly with posts from this comic.

In case it wasn't clear on the previous pages, Crazy and the other main characters like to use cheap tricks and gags to easily solve their problems. Also, as if this guy isn't already enough of a Gary Stu, he's both one of Bowser's top generals and a nephew of Count Bleck.

By the way, I was also provided a page that originally was the first page of this rebooted comic. The quality is messed up due to how the Wayback Machine archived it and how it was hosted on Photobucket by Crazy. For now, this is the best we have.

I'll see about posting more next week, but we may add more sooner if there is enough interest in this comic.

It's crucial to approach discussions about this historical comic with caution. Limited online awareness and minimal mentions indicate a niche topic. While sharing insights, exercise discretion, only revealing select portions to avoid potential complications. The intricate and unpredictable nature of the comic's storyline requires careful consideration to prevent misunderstanding or misinterpretation among those unfamiliar with its content.

Basically, this is what transpires if Super Mario Bros and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure had a baby but instead of hitting it gold it is a piece of shit comic forgotten by the sands of time itself.

A few I would recommend:

Heart-Shaped Skull, by Aaron Aloxevich. Ended many years ago, and full of edge, goth and Tim Burton style. Still holds up really well.

Cloud Scratcher by Cody Baier. Talespin furry fanfiction, but definitely one of the good ones out there. Also each chapter cover is designed after a CD cover, which is kinda cool.

Journey Upstream by Minna Sundberg (made Stand Still, Stay Silent). Very Christian, but nicely drawn and told.

Minna Sundberg is excellent. Journey Upstream is definitely one of those things a person comes up with immediately after converting to Christianity, but I’m glad she’s doing it. Particularly after Stay Still Stay Silent (five stars total recommend) ran for over a thousand pages with fujoshi in the comments eagerly awaiting the androgynous male leads to hook up… and she left them all blue balled and staring talking about Jesus. The seething was something to behold lol

What's the point of this thread when there are already two separate ones dedicated both to Webcomics in general and Bad ones specifically?
Fair enough. My main goal is not explicitly stated in the thread title and I have been busy currently, so I have not done the things I was planning.

I made this thread not just for fan talk, it's welcomed but I want to make this a useful tool in making comics. I plan to post assets that will be free to use for all. Also, I want a convient place where I can suggest software, tools, and other resources. It has come up a lot.

I plan to occasionally post some comics (Kiwi Farm exclusives). Other are welcome to earnestly post or shitpost webcomics. I feel that this thread will free up the threads to mentioned to stay on target.

If you are working on a potential commercial product, do not post it here.

I wanted to make a Kiwi Komics thread, as in comics exlusive to the Farms created by users. If you make anything I will add you to the thread.

EDIT: As a side note this is a guilty pleasure of mine.
