More Trench AK retardation. He got a Meridian, to sum of the video:
He has a new "Style" inserting clips/soundbites into his video, that is technically fine a bunch of youtubers already do this. The problem is Trench only has like four clips, he spams them way too much, and he does it almost randomly.
He spends a third of this 18 min video crying cause it came in a card board box instead of getting a free case/bag. He waves the cases that came with his MP5 and his Dagger while trying to make a point.
He does two separate ads for his stupid patches, both predicated on the idea he needs the money to cover the financial burden of buying 5k rounds of steel case x39 for the Meridian review.
For the unboxing, he asks his audience for opinions on the rivets on the rifle, and while I get this is just engagement farming for comments he phrases this like caring about the your rifle being riveted properly is the height of AK autism.

I don't need more plastic shell eggcrate foam cases. I don't need more blow-molded plastic cases that cease being usable the moment you change the physical configuration of the firearm. I don't need some custom cut foam bullshit that is way over-valued and again needs re-done the moment you change anything. I don't need another nylon case.
What I do need in a rifle, is for it to ship in a fucking box that can protect it from the average retarded logistics people, not occupy a ton of wasted space driving up shipping cost, and quickly be gone from my presence when I no longer need it and the rifle goes into my safe, and then transported in one of the cases I already have when doing anything with it.
Does this retard seriously not understand how much a big ass case would drive up cost, and then STILL need to end up being shipped in a fucking cardboard box anyway so some faggot doesn't cry that the case has a scuff from shipping? I've already got more cases than I could possibly ever use at a given time, even having multiple people with me to carry the damned things, why would anyone need more that they won't actually use to add to the pile?

Why would I want a gun to come with a case? It would be included in the purchase price, so why should I want to pay for a case that I may not even like and want to immediately replace? Maybe he's bought enough Glocks (and immediately replaced everything except the frame and maybe the magazines with aftermarket upgrades) that he's just used to paying for a bunch of stuff that you'll probably want to replace every single time you buy a gun.
For awhile, maybe circa 2010ish, Smith & Wesson performance center guns came in a brushed aluminum case with foam padding and with two combo locks, like a briefcase.
Younger me thought they were neat, until one of the locks quit working in the locked state - a screwdriver under the latch and surprisingly minimal pressure popped it open, couldn’t be more cheaply made garbage.
I still wish I had kept them, and my other boxes, but only because the complete set usually commands a higher resale than just the gun.

I'm curious, what kind of fucking autism is this? I've owned a 5.56 AK (Saiga, so pure slav crap) for a decade and it's the first time ever I've ever heard that AK platforms don't work in 5.56. They work. They work perfectly. Hell, they work in 5.45, the difference is minor. Hell, shitton of export versions in 5.56. I'm not watching two hours of rambling, but it's the first goddamn time I've ever heard this nonsense.

People didn't know shit about 5.56 AK magazines or compatibility, they tried everything. At least now you can get exactly what you need and have guarantees for which mag works with your gun.

The only 'purist' view I have on 5.56 AK's is that those that take STANAG are absolutely haram. Sure it used to be pretty expensive when Circle 10 were the only ones making decent mags, but now the Beryl and AC Unity offerings are good enough and make the entry point a lot cheaper for people.
