It absolutely is, and it deteriorates without practicing often. COVID devastated my shooting skills and I've yet to fully recover. there was a time that i was able to hit a 8 inch steel plate at 90 yards in double action fire with my GP100 .357. COVID/rioting blacks meant i had to cut back on my shooting to a huge extent to conserve ammo and my skills atrophied.

Yeah he's probably right. Most of guntube currently is consoomer bullshit(has been for years) and spectacle(the slow motion videos, kentucky ballistics, demolition ranch before he retired, shit like that). The spectacle stuff is fine, but the rest of guntube isn't doing anything interesting. When they aren't shilling product, or complaining that they didn't get paid to shill product, you get faggots like that Trench Grenade guy and his "training" nonsense.
Where's the discussion about setting up a course? How to actually use the gear they've been shilling? I'm not sure I've seen a video discussing how to use a reticle on youtube without specifically searching for one in a decade at this point. Discussion of actual ballistics besides shooting into gel from 10 yards? How to shoot with wind changing directions downrange? Or hell, even wind at all? Unfortunately I know why that stuff rarely gets videos, and even if it does rarely gets views. It's because it hasn't actually changed in decades, and while there is certainly room for instructional content most of the gun youtube channels don't know anyone that actually understands any of that shit.

Gun fashion nonsense has always been a thing, but yeah at this point it's gone too far and gotten stupid. Previously it was which tactical color was the latest trend, you had annual printed 5.11 tactical catalogs, people treating keymod and mlok like a fucking videogame console war, etc.

Second, that's "gone consistently up" to you? He hasn't seen an increase in views since before New Years, we're already in May. 6 months of dropping views is not "gone consistently up" That's a downward trend after a spike in views that makes no sense other than being tied to Charlie Kirk where he did get a bunch of views 7 months back and likely led to people viewing his other content... and then falling right back off to 2-5k views a video.

Yes, his views go up... except for the parts where they go down. You cannot claim that there's a consistent increase in views, when the chart specifically shows a consistent DECREASE in views for the past 6 months. Hell, you even mention the January 2026 number... but fail to mention how it was previously above that at 15 million and then after January it's just dropped even further. 6 months of falling views is not consistently going anywhere but down, sure as hell not up. Let me try and make this clearer for you, since months at a time is not some anomaly
Well if his views were consistently going up for years, instead of consistently falling off for months he'd have more views. Can you not tell up from down on a chart? Even between October 2024 and April 2025 on the chart you posted, his views were not consistently going up, if anything they were flatlined. Hell, even when his views were drastically up, clearly there was nothing consistent about it since going from hardly anything to 15 million, and then having an IMMEDIATE drop off of over 50% is not "consistent".
