Its funny how there have been design and testing videos of electricly detonated black powder shotguns but it only gets eyeballs when a meme guntuber does it to capitalize on an assassination.
Since we can own real guns it's mostly a novelty unless something silly happens. There was a brief renaissance in people noticing them during the California gun buyback craze, because an assembled pipe shotgun was considered a firearm and got a few enterprising scammers a 10-20x return on the materials invested.
e: basically my point is, the average person browsing gun youtube used to see that and go "huh how weird" but wouldn't give it a second glance after the video ends. It's suddenly interesting (to kiwifarms) because grifters are jumping on the bandwagon for clicks to make money off of the death of a famous person.
The idea of left handed shooters is still strange to me...As someone that was once in a group that had all the left handed people plucked out of it for 'additional training' it just looks wrong.
lol, setting this thing off from behind a barrel right next to it because Brandon was too half-assed to get a longer wire from a hardware store. Guess Brandon wants to receive his own Darwin Award.

He's got an FFL so he's already given the ATF and FBI express written permission to come onto his property at any time they want needing no stated reason to fuck him in the ass. What difference does it make?
My first ever gun was a Wasr-10 I got for $300 back in 2004 lol.......
Thought it was the coolest thing ever when I saved up enough to buy when I was 18, still have and still have a soft spot for the ugly thing lol.
My first "com bloc" gun was a Century VZ2008. Unlike later Century-built guns, it was the one I never had any problems with. I had so much fun with that rifle, and I'm still kicking myself for selling it - not least of which being that now you can't find the fucking things for under $1000.
I applaud his confident accusations towards notorious scope rental company, Vortex, and their subpar products defended by a suspiciously generous warranty.

Is the whole Vortex ordeal just him being a autist and blowing it out of proportion or is there some validity to it? I planned on getting the Razor HD LHT 4.5-22x50mm later this year, so I can't help but be curious if there's some truth to it or if it's just gayfabe. I'v always heard nothing but good things about Vortex.

I come from stock that put faith in $50 scopes; I wouldn't think to shit on a modern optic since even the Chinese can make glass that theoretically works, but if your selling point is "just as good as the rest if it doesn't break and if it does you get a new one" then I'd lean into spending twice/thrice the amount on something that's guaranteed to be good out of the box even after the mailman plays hacky-sack with it.
If there is one thing I despise more than zeroing scopes it's sending shit back for warranty work or replacement, and this combines those two.
Basically. It's not THAT bad, usually 90% of them are good? It's awful QA but not that bad a roll of the dice.
On the other hand one I got would subtly lose zero at random and it took me too long to figure that out - I figured it was me fucking up. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Oh, fuck that. I'd rather have an optic breaking cleanly off its mounting instead. At least then it's obvious and I can send it in for replacement. Subtle shit like gradually shifting zeroes is just the worst.

Yeah having it wander off paper on two range trips after doing an initial laser zero beforehand and assuming it was just because I suck was really annoying.
