How many of you are excited for Thanksgiving? Got any fun recipe ideas? Preparing for Christmas yet? Any jack-o-lantern plans? If you make a fruitcake and brush it with brandy once a day for two months, it comes out fantastic.

I was thinking yesterday I should prepare something. My diet is making it really hard to do any cooking. I mostly eat 100~200 cal snacks every other hour. I was thinking if maybe I should buy a small gourmet turkey online, cook the entire thing, eat just a leg, and break down the rest for sandwiches or something.

Last week I started a job working with two polish guys and a modolvan dude. Very little English except for the guy running it. I'm just a plain white American. What you said on an episode of MATI a little bit ago about how Eastern Europeans on buses and trains are quiet and keep to themselves is dead on accurate.

It has been bliss working around them. Quiet, to the point - maybe a joke two or three times in a 11h shift.
