Hope you're doing well Jersh.

Suddenly lost my job last month and I'm (financially) stressed. It was super stressful and I got sick multiple times in less than a year because of it so I guess it's for the best. Good thing I was able to find a better paying job and will be starting soon, fingers crossed it's not as stressful as the previous one.

Just finished browsing the comix thread to distract me for a bit. Ended up thinking how I can contribute to the site since I have been lurking for years. I want to help somehow, even just a little bit. I have no artistic bone in my body so I'll try my best to contribute financially instead once I manage to set my priorities in order.
 
Feels great coming to this November 9th assembly on November 13th. Fashionably late.

Or maybe unfashionably late, I don't know the difference.

It's just not as fun as it used to be, and it feels like a lot of users (most notably recent joindates) are increasingly less intelligent and will resent anyone who actually does act like an adult. The site has taken on an uncomfortable "no fun allowed" feel, and is close to actually reminding me of forums I used to go to that got taken over by SJWs.

Hopefully KF can pull back, but I'm not very optimistic.

I know what you mean somewhat. If you post ANY dissenting opinion in a niche topic that even SLIGHTLY goes against the main narrative of the thread, you're immediately dogpiled and ostracized from it.
So much for conversations. ONCE IT'S BEEN DECIDED THIS IS THE DEFINITIVE OPINION, NOTHING ELSE IS ALLOWED.

Isn't that just forum culture in general though? Or human nature, for that matter?
 
I'm late cause my PTJ became a FTJ. Did some partying. Did some running. Going to concerts. Honestly, at the end of the day, can't complain.
