An order or a different contract must have been brought around past year, the streamers that have left are those that streamed the less (Amelia, Gura, Mumei), with the exception of Fauna. Maybe streaming quotas were implemented, or something that obligated the streamer to produce more.

Losing Gura is like losing John Cena. She didn't stream, but she didn't need to to be the greatest in the world.

EN kinda distanced itself from those controversies, up until August 2024 it's only graduation was Sana (arguably EN's worst hire)

Things started going wrong when Amelia announced graduation, then the Shion-Fauna wombo combo. An affiliate status doesn't matter at the moment, be a full graduation or an affiliation, people are still going to be mad at the company for letting the talent go

Not really, after the company went public there was a massive shift towards actual brand creation, big sponsorships, events and musical production with Suisei pretty much becoming the role model of what a hololive talent should aspire to be. Talents that joined to stream games and try to be funny live on youtube are clearly pissed with that new direction and have been vocal about it, this isn't news.

Something horrible happened to Hololive as a whole in October 2022. It is the month in which Gura stopped having an active schedule, and many of the streamers that lived through that age, do not refer to 2022 in any positive terms.

I think I understand now why Hololive is pushing Advent so hard (to the point of near favoritism), at least ONE of them has to become the new Gura. Although Nerissa and Shiori are already discounted, so it would be between Bijou and FWMC.

FWMC still sell merch and recieve Superchats like crazy but it's a clear third place after Gura and Ina (or, well, I guess second now)

They're still far far away from being face of the company, meanwhile Bijou is having a bit of a different problem, her audience is insane (15k to 20k viewers per stream) but her merch sales are just...okay. It's like they're Gura but split in two.
