I found a site where you can download a build of gmod9. There was actually servers still up for it and I managed to get into a game with 3 other people last year, sadly I think valve broke the server browser for these old mods. There's also an archive on that site with old maps and addons.

I appreciate Mass Defect all the more now that I know that the Star-Trek map he used is glitchy as shit and makes you start drowning or get stuck if you aren't very careful with your noclipping.

TBH I think nostalgia is overrated in modern society but I would be lying if I said I didn't like his videos; like this one.
