It's actually incredible how far off the mark this article is, considering this would be their big chance to clear things up and come out looking like the good guy, but instead they pretended like nothing had happened.

I certainly hope that someone picks up that phone, because I FUCKING CALLED IT.

One thing we can thank the Quinn Scandal for in this fucking shambles is for finally fucking getting rid of Phil Fish - his twitter account is finally gone and as he got the scope leveled on his personal connections to Quinn and friends an associates of his, he did the smart thing and fucked off - and I can guaran-fucking-tee that the reason he did so is because further scrutiny along these lines would, almost with 100% certainty, show that Fish had the same close personal connections to the industry. We already saw Depression Quest - an overglorified Choose-Your-Own Adventure - win top billing in Indiecade against games that it wasn't worthy to hold the jockstrap of. How much of a stretch is it to even suggest that Fez - by all accounts a mediocre XBLA-exclusive platformer that isn't worthy to feed on Cave Story's table scraps - got where it was the same way? We know that Quinn and Fish have a very close relationship, and with many of the same people....

Sorry for the egobooing on this one, I just find it oddly humorous that I called the Fish thing like this, lock, stock, and barrel.

Depending on how you spin it, Eron is either an example of "NOT YOUR PERSONAL ARMY" gone terribly awry or he simply threw something out there about someone who had wronged him and was not able to see how far-reaching this thing would reach. All things considered, Zoe is kind of a piece of shit and her friends (Phil Fish & Co) are massive pieces of shit. Eron seems kinda whiny and that laundry list of grievances was pretty cringeworthy but at the same time the whole "she banged 5 guys" remark led to people blowing the lid off of massive corruption in the industry.

It's safe to say all parties involved are kinda crappy, some less than others. Honestly even if Eron is LOLcow material I think he should get a bye for helping the industry, even if it was entirely unintentional.
