There's a really long list of victims of oppression who have used bullshit DMCA claims to remove criticism of themselves off the internet. This is not comprehensive but I think it goes something like this:

1. Scientologists
2. Zoe Quinn

I can't understand the level of mindfuck that these pink-haired video game "personalities" -- 95% of whom would define themselves as Liberal Anti-Shitlord advocates of free speech and free expression -- engage in that makes censorship a-ok.

I don't want to really get into self-censorship, reader pressure campaigns, etc. because this is really, really clear cut: a guy with the dumbass name of "MundaneMatt" made a video and Zoe filed a DMCA because it used a single screenshot of her game. It's a pretty good rule of thumb that "people who suppress information that makes them look bad" = shithead. I don't know how any of these people can reconcile this.

They'll do it anyways because apparently, to Kotaku, Zoe's tongue work is just THAT good! But more to the point, it wasn't the screenshot in the first place. He talked about it, ergo, she used her fuckbuddy connections to get it taken down and start a (failed) stealth campaign to silence anyone on Youtube, Reddit, or Tumblr talking about it. Any writer makes a statement? Anyone of note that says, "Why isn't anybody pointing out how corrupt this is?" A firm pat on the ass by the friendly Five Guys and a whisper in the ear to "shut up and let it go." Reconciliation implies any of them have absolutely no idea how corrupt they really are, and how scummy Quinn really is; alerting them to the problem at hand doesn't do anything except give them a target to try and suppress, because they all know EXACTLY what they're doing, why they're doing it, and what they stand to gain if this whole affair keeps under wraps. Might I add, Zoe has proven herself a pathological liar and someone who functionally has no qualms about putting a spin to get her fame and fortune. She used ROBIN'S death to draw attention to her shit game, for goodness' sakes.

She'll keep this whiner train rolling as long as she needs to go because that's exactly how she works; do NOT for one moment let it be swept under the carpet. She can silence YT, she can shut up Reddit, Tumblr, and Twitter; but the war was already lost the moment she turned sights to the Chans. NOBODY will ever not know about this as it unfolds.
 
Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but Patricia Hernandez (Marshall from HIMYM in drag) is apparently living with or sharing a bed with Anna Anthropy, another indie dev who Hernandez writes glowing reviews for.
 
So wait, Zoe is siding with folks who threated to blow a plane with the President of SOA up just because he doesn't share the same views that many SJW hold true? This is fucking disgusting.

Came across one of these on the Escapist, which further damns Patricia Hernandez. Make no mistake, I'm all for women having more presence in games and developing games, etc. etc. but goddamn Hernandez is a quintessential example of why there are so many neckbeard wizards out there...

I can't find anything on this. I know a few people who work for John Smedley (CEO of SOE, not SOA) and I don't think there's really any connection?
