Bro, Lynx's Dolly Parton RPG is my white fucking whale. Nothing seems to have survived the death of LL, but I still think about it on a regular basis. I don't think it was a troll, I think it was a genuine labor of love by an Eastern European weirdo.

Similarly with another LLer game, that I remember less. I think "sky" or "skies" was in the name? It was an RPGMaker game, and MegaTrout, the dude who pretended to be a "18 year old bisexual female furry" for fifteen years, did a review/let's play of it that was fucking hilarious.

@TaiIs82 I'm glad to see you're still around and dropping GameFAQs lore years later. Do you know what happened to logfaqs.com? I was looking for that picture of Error1355 that someone took from his Reddit account, but the site is currently suspended by its webhost for some reason.

I tried asking the guy but he doesn't respond. When he briefly revived the site, he included a message that it was taking up too much resources and it sounded like he had a bot problem that he needed to fix.

It's a really simple line drawing, but something about it just cracked everyone, including me, up. I'm laughing now remembering it. I never saved a copy of it.

I don't recall this immediately, but I've found a surprising amount of stuff in the wiki scrape, including a project I worked on and forgot about that I think still really has some potential.

If you can remember anything more about it I'll look, but the odds are low.

Every single GameSpot hyperlink (besides the ones on the console boards) have UTM datamining s*** appended to them, and the recent redesign of GameSpot's site means that you just end up at a 404 page. The GameSpot redesign also got rid of the comments sections on ALL articles from what I can tell, not just the articles that only exist to complain about Capitalism or transphobia. Honestly, all I remember is it was a thread where some guy was telling a story about how a random girl in class started talking to him, tried to write him a love note and he sent it back with "the angriest face I could draw". It was a topic of the moment kind of thing, came and went within a day but remained as an in-joke.
