Startes the process of replacing my problem disks with Project Snowblind and ace combat 5. Project snowblind is working pretty well however ace combat 5 isn’t working at all. Ive been trying the tape trick but so far it isn’t working does it have to be a specific brand/amount/location?
 
Just get SwapMagic and install Free McBoot, install games on a USB drive run from there, I've never had that bad of problems from doing so

I think there's even an easier kind of exploit now for the PS2, but I don't know what it is.

I have Free McBoot and an ethernet cable connected to the PC. It's a PITA to set it up in Win10, but once it's working you can just download any game you want from Archive.org and they load a lot faster than from USB or disc.
