Remember, the best way to make the left no longer like doing something is to do it right back to them. 2 decades of them putting trannies and faggots in everything? Best way to get them to start demanding clean, 1:1 translations is to translate the half-black Japanese character with American Ebonics instead of the "slightly rough" tone the Japanese they use in the source material is.
Also in case you're wondering, yes, this manga came from nowhere and got shoved everywhere. It's very obviously an op from the Japanese equivalent of the Nudge Unit / ADL / etc. They're trying to program the Japanese into accepting Halfs as "real Japanese" even if they make 0 effort to integrate. The long march through society continues.
Except that you can see that all other languages managed to keep their spaghetti in their pockets and followed the source. I think English localizers are the worst when it comes to making shit up. And I don't even really want to defend other translations too much because the whole industry is fucked and full of wokies, but instead of changing everything to cringe memes, they prefer to ruin their own language with made-up gender neutral grammar.
