As a fan, BL2s story is only so-so. Its not particularly strong, but doesn't do anything bad as far as I care. Which is good.

I didn't mind it so much but some friends of mine refused to play BL2 because of the shoehorned in memes. While I do say that shouldn't completely stop you from enjoying the game, Gearbox went way overboard on it, which instead of making the memes endearing makes them annoying.

Butt Stallion was still funny though.

Good thing Gearbox made up for it with Aliens: Col---- right.

Speaking of author skills, I can't help but idly wonder who will be the first to fall to the clutches of America Star Books (formerly known as PublishAmerica), Jace or Gabe. They're a pretty notorious vanity publisher that preys on clueless new authors and causes endless grief to them. (Surprisingly few actual lolcows have been hoodwinked by them, most notably DBoyWheeler.)

Copy-paste the ED page address to Google, click on the tiny dropdown, and select the "Cached page" option. Or whatever it's called. The first option on this moon-language screenshot:

Note that for some reason, Google seems to have indexed a bunch of old versions of the pages too (like here it's actually showing me a result from January), which isn't supposed to happen with MediaWiki, so I guess ED has some really weird configuration options.
