Welp that's it. Seems like Morocco lost whatever air they started off in the first goal. Even Paraguay tried harder to score with just one guy.

It's amazing how much less dead air there is on most Telemundo broadcasts as compared to the Fox ones. I bet the Telemundo guys are saying 3-4x what the American broadcasts are saying. And for the most part, it's not, "Watch James Cordon tonight."
There's a lot of "Mire el senior de los cielos" or "El turco" or whatever. But takes less than a second and they get back to it.
Seems like Spanish commentators have sort of radio tradition where the game is narrated and they dynamism of the game is conveyed.
English narrate as it was a rando on a bar with brain damage and no interior monologue.

Latin America has it too this culture of Radio transmission. English narration almost seems disinterested. When I was watching J League games they had an english narrator and he made it boring

Well, it looks like some egyptians hacked the AFA page(Argentina's football association) and made it show this picture on a black background

Egipto-hackeo-a-Argentina-1200x700.jpg I can't find the one with proper pictures
here's an article in spanish that has talked about it, there are others floating around but it's still very recent

Obviously inspired after what Egypt's DT said after the match, that they got rigged and all.
And speaking of that...
This is a 2025 match between Racing and Barracas(this club is coincidentally from Chiqui's). As you can see after the minute 15:00, Racing's goal was nullified after checking up the var and catching a pentaly in favor of Barracas.
So about this, they can't really call the var if they're still playing per se, and if it somehow ends up in a goal before checking the var, and find a penalty, they can outright nullify it. It's a wild situation, from winning 1-0 to losing 0-1 at the last second.
This is what happened with that second goal from Egypt, according to da rules, they were still playing so they couldn't use the var sinso until the play stops.

So yeah, there's already a precedent of this.
I'd really hate it if she gets booted just for trash talking france's favorite nigger, it's a heated debate around here, I'll probably talk more about it later if anything new comes afloat but for the record, I've hated that nigger since day 1.

Goals have been ruled out a million times over for fouls committed before the goal was scored. It's not even that there's precedent, it's just normal and within the rules. It's nothing new unless someone only watches the sport every 4 years. A month's worth of watching the Premier League and you'll have multiple goals ruled out for fouls committed beforehand.

MLS needs a relegation system or forever remain as a retirement home.
MLS doesn't need relegation (look at Argentina, they have basically done away with relegation through bullshit regulations). What the MLS and USL need is to become a feeder league to Europe and make their money through transfers, TV deals, and attendance. Trying to break into the Top 5 leagues is a terrible idea. But if they can start making good amounts of money by selling American talent to Europe, then there becomes an incentive to develop young talent, which in turn makes these clubs want to find and develop the talent. But there are too many people at the top who don't want to go down this route
What has Newcastle achieved since they have been bought by the Saudis?
Qualified for Champions league 2 or 3 times and won the league cup
Other news for true fans of the thread, Glasner is going to coach Nottingham Forest and Arbeola is going to take over in Fulham. Honestly, I did not see this coming.
Glasner kinda took a step up I guess? Forest will pay more than Crystal Palace for players but their owner is a wild card. While Arbeloa is one I didn't see coming, I like the fact he is going somewhere to prove he is a good coach/manager. If he can do well at Fulham, which is basically just finish mid table and occasionally get a nice cup run, then he can go on to a top team in a smaller league like Marco Silva and follow in his foot steps. He basically got fucked over with Real Madrid so its nice to see he can still get a decent job after that disaster

1. Morocco tried to play nice.
2. Morocco was playing for a 0-0 draw to win on penalty kicks.
3. Everyone has a plan until the get punched in the face - Mike Tyson and France both say that
4. Once France scored, see #3

Spain advances tomorrow after a 0-0 game against Belgium on penalty kicks
Argentina gets dumped by Switzerland unless Argentina gets the 12th man (referee) on their side.
England gets by Norway easily, they will beat the shit out of that Norwegian Barbie doll striker.

You say like this is a good thing, Argentina national league is in shambles and their bloated league and format is one of the reasons to why Brazil is dominating in Libertadores.

Every problem that Brazil had in Brasileirão in the 80s-90s is what we are currently witnessing TODAY in Argentina, it is inexcusable. Liga MX and MLS are examples of what not to do in this regard. And everything barring the national team is probably the master example of what not to do in ANY place in football.

If they think Argentina rigs in international matches, they don't have a fucking clue about what they do in Argentina, that entire country is cursed.

No they didn't, Paraguay played for that 0-0, Morocco tried their game and completely failed at every step, that is the difference. France absolutely mogged them, if you see the stats, almost all their attempts was after the 2-0, when the game was decided already. They simple weren't good enough in this new football they were playing in this WC compared to their last one that had a solid defensive plan.

I don't want MLS to become a major league where players go as a destination. I want American talent to view Europe as the final destination and I want them to view MLS and USL as the means to getting there
