For the record, USA didn't just lose, it was humiliated. Trump used his political power to interfere with the game and they still lost and gave one of the most embarassing performances a national team has given in quite a while.

The goalie going for the ball when the defenders are no where close and the attacker is right there was the correct call. He fumbled the clearing strike and then passed it back and to the side were the attacker was. He made two awful mistakes in like 3 seconds.

What an absolutely disgraceful performance by the backline. The Fullbacks deserve a whipping for those first two goals absolutely. But that third goal was unforgivable on the part of the goal keeper.

Which begs the question why the the goalie was in front outside the box while the fullback was in the box in front of the goal in the first place. That sort of play would get you bitched out by the coach if you were playing in a girls under 10 recreation league.

True football heritage here. Their fans wants to win at any costs, even the slightest way to incur and make them irritated is true. It is a fan way to support their team. Just like chanting EEEEEEEEEHHHH PUTO is part of mexican sports culture.
