Despite liking Hershey product Pulisic, it's somewhat hard to root for team USA when they have so many niggers and a fucking non American anchor baby nigger no less leading the team. That being said, I thought that was a really dirty play from the anchor baby nigger. I'm not an expert at soccer but I imagine a move like that is a little subtle but very dirty.

+10 minutes and -1 player is fine, both hard countered by subing in our secret spic weapon, #9 Pepe

Right but aside from him not even looking in the direction of the Bosnian player, the reffing was light for the whole game up to that point, and it was only noticed because of replay.
It's a bit unfair for the player getting sent off yea, but it's correct according to the rules. Compare it to when someone tries a bicycle kick and kicks the head off some poor bastard behind him he didn't see.

Having stuff like this being brought to the refs attention by the VAR team does open opportunities to play favorites, as I don't think there would have been much complaint if they didn't call for a ref review. But then again that possibility always existed if a head ref just choose to look more closely at one team's infractions.

cant fucking believe one of our guys got a red card for accidentally stepping on some guy, but this guy didnt for shoving our already downed goalie and smacking his head on the ground. fuck this referee and fuck bosnia
That shove was not dangerous in any way though. It was just stupid and petty, and the bosnak should have gotten a yellow for sure.

But be real, had a an American shoved the Bosnian ref the same way, you would have bitched about the goalie milking it.

You won fair and square though and should beat the Belgians next match if their last outing is any indication of how they'll play going forward.

it's correct according to the rules.
Despite your username this sounds very Euro-coded and America is a common law country. We understand that the intention of rules is to promote safety and sportsmanship. Throwing a man out for an accident without any warning is only going to add fuel to the fire on both sides and diminish sportsmanship and create more safety risks.

Serbia didn’t nothing wrong.
They fucking lost to an 10 man team.
Thats because they know we don't actually care. We are just here for the memes. The US could win the whole tournament and 2/3rds of the country would not even notice. Most people here were unaware the US was even hosting the world cup this year.
Nah, it's not because most don't care, its because US lives rent free in their head, we do almost everything better, and with how things are going the difference only grows. It even applies to other countries in the Americas. Futbol is the last thing they have left, so the smug euro cannot tolerate those "uppity" Americans to outdo them.
Its also why I wish for France to lose hard, and have the later stages be Americas dominated.

Edit: US gotta get better with their offside, these weren't bullshit 'one micron ahead' kind of deal they pulled on Colombia, these were out and out offsides.

Última edición:
Not a bad match at all, but the red was bullshit. A yellow I'd have no problem with, it was a risky tackle, but the red simply was not warranted.

I was almost sure the Bosnian coach was going to take a swing at the ref though, dude was pissed.

You have to be in control of your legs. Similar concept to skates in hockey. But I don't really think it was an accident. You see guys in football go up for contested catches, and they are rarely stepping on a guy's legs like that. That is because going low in the NFL is one of the scummiest things you can do because leg injuries end careers, and those guys have enough professional respect to be careful. I don't think Balogun was an innocent angel at all in that moment.

Eh..., it was a dangerous tackle. No getting around it. It also came from behind. I can see how maybe the American player was trying to abort the play after he saw the ball was kicked. Sadly, he still hit the Bosnian players ankle from behind with no ball in play. FIFA rules are pretty strict about this. As a general rule doing a tackle from behind a player is a high risk maneuver where getting carded is a major component of that risk. Trying to abort after the ball is gone is all well and good, but doesnt really matter if you still hit boot to ankle anyway.

I was mentioning this is chat but I think football would benefit with having something like a sin bin like they have in Rugby. For times when it's more than a yellow but doesn't quite warrant a red you send the player off for 10 minutes, it's a decent middle ground and that tackle would definitely fall into that category.
