Also, I think that opinion is pretty close. However, I think more so furries are attention whores, least the loudest of them are. I know a few folks who put a lot of mental energy in being a "popufur" on social media. Started with a fursuit and slowly devolved to pornography posts to feel some sort of self worth. Social media in general has possibly caused more mental anguish and harm than the lockdowns in the pandemic.

I agree, but temp banning them instead of clowning on them is perhaps the worst choice in that situation. The forums do not cater to them which is already apparent from the responses, so to go even further and ban them is just silly. It is better for the community to respond to the post rather than some retarded mod using the ban hammer

It's a temporary ban from this thread alone which lasted only 48 hours with no additional infractions on a known problem user who repeatedly attempted to derail the thread to talk about themselves or random social politics while trying to escalate people insulting them into full arguments as other users reported them. I don't know if you're really this unobservant or just trolling, but either way your opinion on this situation offers little insight. Banning them for being a furry was a blatant joke which was somehow still too subtle for you to catch. If you still disagree, you can make a thread in Talk To Staff on behalf of this user who doesn't even care themselves rather than trying to derail this thread as well, but it will most likely just lead to the admin insulting you directly.
