I remember one really good artist who 'taught' 2-3 friends how to draw. Within a year they all looked like poor copycats of the exact same style, and you could just tell they'd be unable to draw like.. A chair.

That reminds me of a story someone told me years ago on Skype. There was this Sonic fanartist on Deviantart who's parents were rich, and who sent him to art school. Once he got out of art school he was adding styles and whatnot to his coloring, yet the anatomy still looked like that of a Sonic fanartist, complete with the body shape and distinct eye pattern.
 
Been seeing this blow up on my twitter feed. Pretty small but interesting. Furry/anime tiddy artist Slugbox makes a tweet talking about E3 games. From knowing this guy's history, it could be a joke tweet since his friend Raikissu commented on it talking about the complaints. People don't seem to be taking it lightly. Funny enough, someone before me archived his tweet.

I did manage to screen capture the comments if he does delete the tweet since he does clear his tweets every 2 weeks. After posting that tweet, he went from having 44,974 followers to 44,969 so he's slowly losing followers bit by bit but will gain more back if they see him post furry or anime tits. His Patreon hasn't went down in numbers, still sitting at $1,230 a month.

It's kinda funny is that Slug himself looks like this and surprise surprise, he's white.

Don't you just hate it when you buy a game and turns out it's a white people kind of game where you cook stale tasteless food and have a father? Happens all the time.

He's a cute piglet, but should probably stop pretending he's some minority irl.
 
If i remember correctly, i think he's part asian and part something else. Possibly american. He had a pic that's now deleted from his Twitter, where he got his hair dyed pink as a Patreon incentive goal for i think around $1,000. I'm not even joking.

Possibly, even though both known each other for at least 10+ years according to Slugbox. He made a tweet, now deleted, with a picture of his wife with her ring when they got engaged.

Tweet is still up and i found this comment.

I've seen people call Slugbox a pedophile due to the art he draws on and off. He's no Shadman drawing real underaged actors, mostly just anime/cartoon girls with no tits, big tits and furries. I think the reason is cause he's drawn characters with a questionable age who look/are lolis. One example is Vanellope from Wreck-it-Ralph. He's drawn her a few times but if you go on his Pixiv, oh boy you're in for a treat.

He's uploaded most of the loli, underaged or flat-chested character drawings there for obvious reasons.

Pretty sure he's said he's 1/2 Chinese or something on stream before. Of everything he's done, I'm surprised this is what people are getting angry about.
His wife is (was?) also a decent artist, but now she focuses on nsfw modeling for money. A few other woman artists in his social circle went that route too.

That reminds me of how BenTheLooney went to art school and when he came back you could see some things he'd improved on, but then he just kept getting worse overall and now all he draws is naked lumps of horror.

I checked his tweet one more time and it has more responses now in the 100s then it was yesterday. Since i mentioned how the tweet could be a joke since his friend Raikissu commented on it, more of his friends commented reacting to everyone's reactions. So basically, he was fucking around and everyone took his comment seriously.

But it's funny cause he's been sperging and live retweeting about E3 bitching about games and the game companies for the past few days, like any other gamer shut-in does each year.

Furries are upset it doesn't have any actual wolves to jerk off to. Stoked to see that game coming out for release outside of Japan.
