Who in the hell are you replying to? I'll take the bait anyway - sure, China 'abandoned communism' but never gave up the inherent power structure it gave the political elite. The same groups or types of people that ruled then do now. Technically a free market but still heavily controlled, moreso than most places in the world.

China's been ramping up it's propaganda again.
There's a financial advice grifting channel that recently posted Chinese propaganda.
They initially tried to pass it off as legitimate content, however the comment section was wise to their antics. Unfortunately I didn't capture the comment section before it was scrubbed since so many channels just make their post, get paid and leave it at that. The comment section was filled with people expressing how this was obviously paid propaganda, and a few obvious Chinese agents running defense. Now comments are disabled and they added the "Paid Content" disclaimer.
Another financial grifting channel named "Asian Boss" has been pumping out pro-China videos, veiled as totally legit on the street interview with real people.
Their most obviously fake ones are the videos where they claim to get totally candid not staged interviews from random people on the street in China. You are not allowed to do any sort of media work without explicit Communist Party approval. For example a United States Journalist writing a non-political story about meme noodles from China was constantly harassed by government officials and slandered on Chinese media.
