There's absolutely no information about the specifications of this phone. Justifiably so, because it's not even a phone someone made themselves:

Are you getting your Freedom Phone, patriotbros?

It's essentially a generic android with pre-installed bloat like Parler, Telegram, Rumble, OAN, Newsroom, Duck Duck Go and a VPN instead of Google on it. Better cough up that 500 bucks goyi- I mean proud patriot of your country.
In all seriousness Please don't buy what clearly looks like that one thing the FBI developed & used as a honeypot.

Looked into this awhile ago. Everything about it screams either honeypot or trashfire waiting to happen. Alarm bells should be blaring the second you see anything about sending your phone in.

My favorite part about this phone is that it says it does not track you/prevents the government from watching you/etc, but is compatible with any phone service provider. If your phone is pinging cellphone towers, you're probably trackable. Those who really want the most out of privacy should probably go back to their old-school Nokias.

Its running on freedom OS? that's a weird way to say "we slightly modified Android and pre-installed mostly right leaning apps." Seriously tho, who the hell would buy this? Sounds like a fake advertisement you would see in GTA or something.

"Can't use Android's name" I'm pretty sure that was a deliberate choice. Saying you developed a new OS from scratch sounds way more impressive than saying you slightly modified one from the same big tech giant your phone is trying to avoid.

If I ever was desperate enough to lose my morals, grifting boomers with my above average tech skills seems like a great way to make money.

Trying to think of any device made now that does not spy on you. Any phone nowadays is for sure spying on you. Pretty sure the only way to avoid that is to go back to the really old flip phones.
It also has a fingerprint sensor, so the Chinese and American governments have your prints if you use it.

I did not even think about that until now. Wonder how they will spin that into something positive if someone asks about it. My guess is they will say something like "by having your fingerprint you are 100% safe against socialists who will try to steal your merica phone" or something like that.

Back in the good not-as-bad old days, a "freedom phone" was called a "landline"...
Pretty sure the NSA spied on those.

There's two Freedom Phone sites. Even if they are unrelated, everything about them screams, "RUN".

The .net has the thing about sending your phone in. It also has more details thans the .com. Tried to learn about FreedomOS and just get directed to the phone's page. Either way, avoid.

The description mentions Trust. Trust is a feature of the LineageOS ROM, so it will be a fork of that. If people want privacy, they're better off exploring other options. Never purchase any sort of device that is specifically marketed to be "private" or "safe", you should always purchase a regular consumer device and then flash a ROM on it yourself if you want to go that route. I can almost guarantee whatever glow factory conjured up this device has installed full activity logging software and added a bunch of holes in the source code.

If you want to read more on doing this on your own, the NoGoolag telegram channel is a good start.
