>but not Gab's appIt's essentially a generic android with pre-installed bloat like Parler, Telegram, Rumble, OAN, Newsroom, Duck Duck Go and a VPN instead of Google on it.

"Can't use Android's name" I'm pretty sure that was a deliberate choice. Saying you developed a new OS from scratch sounds way more impressive than saying you slightly modified one from the same big tech giant your phone is trying to avoid.
There's absolutely no information about the specifications of this phone. Justifiably so, because it's not even a phone someone made themselves:

Are you getting your Freedom Phone, patriotbros?
Trying to think of any device made now that does not spy on you. Any phone nowadays is for sure spying on you. Pretty sure the only way to avoid that is to go back to the really old flip phones.HINT If it says China on the side of the box, it's spying on you.
It also has a fingerprint sensor, so the Chinese and American governments have your prints if you use it.Trying to think of any device made now that does not spy on you. Any phone nowadays is for sure spying on you. Pretty sure the only way to avoid that is to go back to the really old flip phones.
I did not even think about that until now. Wonder how they will spin that into something positive if someone asks about it. My guess is they will say something like "by having your fingerprint you are 100% safe against socialists who will try to steal your merica phone" or something like that.It also has a fingerprint sensor, so the Chinese and American governments have your prints if you use it.
Pretty sure the NSA spied on those.Back in thegoodnot-as-bad old days, a "freedom phone" was called a "landline"...
The description mentions Trust. Trust is a feature of the LineageOS ROM, so it will be a fork of that. If people want privacy, they're better off exploring other options. Never purchase any sort of device that is specifically marketed to be "private" or "safe", you should always purchase a regular consumer device and then flash a ROM on it yourself if you want to go that route. I can almost guarantee whatever glow factory conjured up this device has installed full activity logging software and added a bunch of holes in the source code.Tried to learn about FreedomOS and just get directed to the phone's page.
BASED.Lol, just replaced Chrome with Brave.
