Free game giveaways and other stuff you notice.

My fellow Kiwis, how big is your Epic Games library without ever spending a dime? Obviously you are excluded if you're a filthy mongrel who has ever put a cent into the store! My current score is 501 games. As a follow up, how many of your free Epic games have you played to completion? For me that answer is 1 (Loop Hero, really liked it). Epic is just on the cusp of overtaking Steam, Sweeney-sisters!

Only about 51 games, but I haven't paid attention to free giveaways until maybe last spring. I've played at least one to inarguable completion, three to near-completion, and another halfway.

I'm to busy playing myself to completion.

We're reaching numbers I didn't know possible. I started when I learned about their free games when they gave GTAV free and it made big enough news for me to hear about in like around 2019/2020, and I don't think I've missed a week since. I know they where doing the free games before that, but I didn't know they had done that many before.

looked it up - they started it pretty much as soon as the launcher launched (december 10 2018)
at the time they would be biweekly but at some point increased the rate to weekly, making it daily during christmas time
when you think about it its pretty insane - some big company is giving away free games every week
and at the time they would be big games all the time like super meat boy slime rancher or subnautica

I haven't even put in my payment info. Timmeh doesn't get a fucking penny from me. Anyway, I only have 138 games. I didn't have a PC when they started it.

80. Only 6 installed. And I've only played one for a couple hours (Civ 6).

Are we counting games I beat on the 360/PS3 like 20 years ago? Because that would bump up the numbers quite a bit.

Loop Hero is really good, though the grind got to me in the end and I just looked up the ending on YouTube.

My library is currently at 198, mostly because I stopped claiming everything and only log in now if something halfway decent is on the giveaway.

I think i started claiming when the thing came out but then around the time free gta5 came (or maybe earlier) i just unistalled the launcher and (full time)fucked off to Gabens yacht and never looked back.
(tbh i kinda regret not claiming all these free games but at the same time not like i would play them lol)

Maybe a dozen or two? I installed the store a few years back for free games, had to do a system reinstall due to a dead hard drive, forgot to install it then, and just ''eh, meh" every time I consider actually installing now, and that was years ago.
I literally cannot be bothered to install the EGL even to get stuff for free now. It's just that unappealing to put forth the minimal effort or to even have it on my system.

I just stay logged into the website to get the games. Annoyingly I had to launch Epic to see how many games I had because I cannot see it on the website that I know of. First time I've launched it in close to a year.

That's what i do claim via the website.

I haven't installed the launcher since the chiv 2 server testing and maaybe dead island 2 no idea how many games i have it'd be at least over 30 at this point.

334 games, never dropped a dime on timmy tencent. I stopped grabbing every freebie a couple years ago, I only grab something I might actually play now, and some of my epic games were game codes that were hardware bundled with video cards, ram, and a laptop. I'd have never even installed epic if Metro Exodus hadn't bitched out of steam for a while to epic. I've only really played 5 or 6 games on epic, unless you count giveaway dupes that are on steam and gog, too.

My money goes to steam and gog, not reddit-investing commies.
