no shit nigga, its a sports team, it wants to win. if either driver is slower then whatever is causing that is something to focus on for improvements so they can win betterVer archivo adjunto 8378501

Not a huge surprise given that China is Cadillac's biggest market. Maybe they're keeping Zhou warm until either Checo or Bottas decides to retire from F1?Ver archivo adjunto 8377405

My understanding was that Cadillac was supposed to be "the American Constructor". Hell, I'd relocate if I could get a job at one of their locations here. Not a huge surprise given that China is Cadillac's biggest market. I hope this isn’t a long-term thing. It’s an ugly look, in my opinion, for the first bonafide US team in forever to have a Chinese driver on the roster. I better be seeing some American drivers (or latin drivers, close enough) filling out the roster by 2030.Ver archivo adjunto 8377405

Cadillac has very little exposure in Europe for reason, they are regarded as crap in comparison to Euro and Japanese equivalents. If they are only relevant in US, China, and Canada then entering F1 only really makes sense to me as a play for Eurorelevance. Not enough Americans or Canadians care. No idea about China.
If he was faster than Verstappen then he wouldn't be complaining.Ver archivo adjunto 8378501

The Team will always favour the consistently faster driver. If he was faster than Verstappen then he wouldn't be complaining.
There might be valid arguments about Verstappen being the golden boy who the car gets form tailored to, but there's no driver who gets repeated punishment for being the fastest
Ask Piastri about that. The Team will always favour the consistently faster driver.
I just looked that up... 50% drop in sales over the last 4 years apparently. Ouch. It's really fell off as brand in China
I'm not sure if installing a Chinese driver will really do much help restore Cadillac's market share in China, but I can see why they'd give it a shot.may be the point as there is only 3 markets they are relevant (US, China and Canada).
Piastri is a great driver.Ask Piastri about that.
Nmin the last month of the season he uploaded a bunch of ~10 minutes audio clips on his patreon. Don't know what's in them aside from the titles.anyone know what happened to Rocketpoweredmohawk? Did he get arrested for funposting in the UK?
I completely forgot about this. Thanks for ruining my day lol. F1 TV was everything I wanted with sports viewing — paying ONE COMPANY money to view JUST the thing I came there for. Now I have to put up with Apple’s shit offerings being shoved in my face when all I want is just want to watch Jolyon Palmer nerd out on tech or watch documentaries on the sports history in between F1 events.I'm just annoyed I have to get Apple TV if I want to watch the races because of the North American license but regardless I'm excited for Cadillac being on the grid and if they're 9th or better in the constructors, I'll be happy.
