I don't get it why even Alpine is even on the grid if they aren't being a manufacturer team. I suppose it's profitable but who is going to buy an Alpine car as I associate it with backmarker losers who don't have the excuse of HAAS who didn't have the money the big boys did.

That's the A290. Definitely a contender for my next company car given the current tax system and how high the rate is on an ICE or PHEV.

Though now we're at the end of the season, I'd figured I'd ask the question everyone asks themselves, what do you think is the best looking F1 livery to ever grace this sport?

Mine is the very Jordan 191 I just posted. Just what a clean yet iconic car with soda pop sponsor, something that was quite rare during that time in F1 when Big Tobacco ruled motorsport.

Maybe an unpopular choice but the McLaren MCL33 - good color combo and minimal sponsors.


Also partial to the Leyton House CG901 - pleasant color combo and again, minimal goycorps.

If you ever get the chance, go see it live in Norwich.

The heritage foundation across the street keeps them in running shape and uses the factories track to run them. It’s in Hethel the tour was amazing as cars are in state or repairs or rebuilds dfv’s all over the place and Coventry engines. We were super lucky when doing the lotus factory tour they were running sennas 97t and hills 49b on the factory track at speed in prep for goodwood.

One of the nice things was the staff was so accommodating and got to pour over setup sheets and engineer diagram of parts. I’m glad the heritage is a separate entity then lotus proper as they will be shuttering that factory at some point as they are doing so poorly.

I don't get why the general reaction on social media is good riddance and general hate. He's done a great job with the academy (8 WDCs is pretty good going), yeah he's been cut throat but you can't just coddle and keep drivers that are just not good enough just because it's mean to replace them.

People do not like Red Bull's influence in sports in central Europe and the anglosphere has seen them as the evil empire that needs to be reigned in so more "traditional" teams can dominate it again. It's not that surprising, if you remember how things like RB Leipzig have been treated by purists of their respective sport.

From what I understand, they want an english team with a (white) english driver on top. Basically they are in heaven rn and Max and red bull are the devil

Most of the Helmut hate is coming from non-Redbull fans who are also politically correct cocksuckers who cried about Helmut make remarks about Mexican stereotypes.
