I love being a manly dude. I love manly shit: guns, motorcycles, cars, pissing standing up, pissing outside, hunting, growing and maintaining a beard...being a man is pretty fine. I mean, who wouldn't want to be a man? Who would honestly rather bleed for five days out of every month?
 
masculinity is measured by perseverance under adversity, often by voluntarily assuming risk - whether rewarded tangibility of not - and stoically accepting the consequences of those risks. while masculine traits can occur in everyone, not just men, some traits are more evident among men than others.

every place and culture i've visited generally uses that as a guideline for traditionally male behavior. while i would assume i'm typically masculine enough to be stereotyped as such, i would like to also experience, in another life perhaps if that's a thing, the feminine experience. it, like death, is something alien and foreign, difficult and full of risk and adversity and consequences.

i think it's a worthy thing to experience.
 
Being a dude is fun as fuck. I with no irony am stereotype guys guy to a fault and friends tease me it's a cover up. I really love outdoors stuff, sports, stuff that's seen as manly. I got scrapes and scars, I got a busted nose from falling off bikes. Standing to pee is pretty damn awesome. I do have a refined side and I think holding both sides of that coin is a part of true manliness. I know how to tie a tie, can clean up myself and conduct when I need to but I'm also still not above having a few beers and playing basketball with the guys.

Something that I've seen in my gen effect manhood is snobbiness, you have to learn to enjoy things and still be able to kick it back. For example, I know my booze but if I'm out camping or BBQing what ever beer is in my hand is the good beer. Not going to go to a friends house and turn my nose up because it's not some artys fartys thing. To me that's being a princess.

Ironically, my beard (had one my whole 20s mostly) was one of the least manly things I could do. I am baby faced and I was kinda embarrassed thankfully I can grow a nice beard so I did to cover up. I didn't have the self respect to say fuck it. I may look 11 but I'm still me.

All men should be ready willing and able to play "skins" at the drop of a hat.
