I like Charlie Day, but this just looks atrocious. I mean I didn't even crack a smile during that trailer. I do like the premise, so maybe it's the kind of comedy that it is hard to make a trailer for, but sheesh, that looks bad.
Taking away his voice and wit just seems like a terrible idea. This seems like the kind of thing that Steve Martin or Martin Short would've done to show how awesome they were as comics that would've been wholly unfunny.
Hopefully I am wrong, but this just seems bad.
