Florida is about to get raped by the largest hurricane it's ever seen. I have unwaivering faith in Florida man's cockroach like ability to survive against all odds. Godspeed FL kiwis.

Update:

Evacuation orders underway
Monroe County (Keys) is under evacuation order. Miami-Dade County is likely to order South Dade and Miami Beach evacuations tomorrow.

Update 2:

The hurricane is so severe it's reading as an earthquake.

Are you psychic? I was just about to make this thread myself, after talking with a few friends in Florida. Shit's gonna get turbofucked, and so soon after Harvey too.

At the same time, Florida is the greasy, unwashed dick of the US, so I don't feel too bad.

Media in central fl is hyping it up like all fuck.

Honestly I'll be surprised if it keeps much power once it's done blasting the islands.

inb4 the twittersphere starts gloating at another 2016 red state getting hit by hurricane

This sucks so much for me because I just came back from vacation, I'm currently lazy as fuck because of jetlag and haven't had a chance to go back to work yet because now this monster is loose. I begin work tomorrow though, but that just makes matters more dire because I am the only one around with the house to protect. The rest of my family is up in Montana vacationing.

This is gonna be bad. My island in the Bahamas isn't really in the trajectory anymore, but we're still on high alert.
